This walk has been on our bucket list for a while now and did not disappoint. The first part of the walk to Wentworth Falls is reasonably easy. From here it's all downhill, literally, steep stairs and you really need to use the handrails and wire rope to get down. The views from here are spectacular and well worth the effort. Upon reaching the base of the Falls you enter a rain forest environment. The base of valley is undulating and grand vista's in every direction. The trek up and out of the valley via Empress Falls is also very challenging and plenty of stone steps and metal stairs to conquer. It took us just on four hours to complete the walk and very satisfied at the end of the day.

We visited here with extended family, including several grandchildren, and enjoyed a picnic lunch in the shelter near the barbecues, which, by the way, were spotlessly clean. A lovely spot overlooking the lake, and large enough not to feel too crowded. The kids really enjoyed the playground as well. Recommended.

This walk is an easy walk and it brings you out to a gorgeous view. It is pathed some of the way and then it is a little slippery on some of the rocks down the actual lookout.
You can see The Three Sisters from here and There is also a picnic area half way down.

High and Wild Mountain Adventures has been operating since 1989. We offer Abseiling, Rock Climbing, Canyoning and Bush Survival courses. We cater for beginners through to experienced outdoor adventurers and hold all of the relevant qualifications and licenses to operate these activities.
We did the Juggler Canyon with High 'n Wild. On the day there were three on us joining the tour with one guide (Dave).
The tour itself was split into two parts; the first a set of abseils, with stunning views, to train the group (starting with a gentle 5m abseil leading up to 30m). Dave was patient and happy for us to take our time and for us to repeat any abseils we didn't feel comfortable with.
After lunch we went on to the main event where we did a series of four abseils through Juggler canyon, gradually working our way down the canyon, which was equally as stunning.
Overall a great day - thank you!

Nice area to visit and pass a couple of hours meandering along the paths. Very relaxing with some great views. Paths are a little steep in places and there are two wonderful Waterfalls. Paths can be a little heavy just after the rain as they tend to keep it for sometime.

We met Eric at his house and knew immediately we were going to have a fun and informative five hour tour. We had previously visited from the UK four years ago and wished to visit the lesser known vistas and locations this time. Eric delivered...MoreHi Robert, Thank you for such a wonderful review. Sorry for the delay in responding. All the best to you and your lovely family. Kind regards, Eric

Came here on a nice sunny summer. $13 per person, cheaper for seniors. The grounds are well maintained, lovely Gardens and bush setting overlooking Jamison Valley. However, it's not a massive property. Easily walked through and seen everything in an hour. The house is interesting, but not overwhelmingly awesome ir stunning as some review.
The money goes back toward the property, so I wouldn't call it a waste, however....you will see similar Gardens and landscape in the suburb. Could walk the area and get great photos for no cost. Then you can see bush setting and uninterrupted views of the valley at nearby Gordon's Lookout, again at no cost. I want to give an honest review, so all can make a better choice and not leave feeling disappointed. I feel the cost should be more like $8 for what you see. More people may then be inclined to spend more at the cafe located in the house.

Beautiful panoramic views of the jamerson valley n the three sisters. Stunning . Stop n look at the outstanding views with the blue haze of the evaporating eucalyptus. There are a variety of great walks all around, even one to a bridge connected to the first sister.

What a lovely surprise this place was! We were heading to the falls and found a park on a nearby street which just so happened to be outside this place. We were actually looking for tea and coffee and were delighted with what we found...Morewe are glad that you had such a pleasant experience. Enjoy your painting and the book on Wendy Sharpe. At the moment we are travelling through India with Wendy and Bernard Ollis. Hope to see you again in the future. Ian and Anne Smth
