Lukshmi Villas Palace is the Official residence of the Maharaja Of Baroda. The royal family still resides in this magnificent palace builtin 1889.A part of the palace is open for visitors during the day 10 am to 5 pm. Mondays is the weekly off day. Weekends can get crowded , so best to come on any other day.The ticket cost Rs. 200 And it includes a complimentary audio tour guide in either english , hindi & Marathi.Photographs inside the palace are not permitted. The tour takes about an hour. Water & other cold beverages are available at a charge for visitors.
What a well organised tour of the palace. So very majestic and grand. The audio guide enables and exposes the visitor to the history of each and every artefact displayed. The palace is absolutely unique and historical in so many ways. The only downside of the visit to the palace was the WASHROOM. They were filthy and had a strong stench of urine. The stench in fact was so strong that one could get it right upto the cafeteria. Since the palace was so well maintained and the tour so well organised, this came as an absolute shock. Therefore be prepared to be bowled over by the magnificence of the palace and the disgust upon wanting to visit the washroom in the palace.

Very convenient location.Newly constructed complex includes multiplex, food zone, shopping and outstation bus terminus.A Bit congested, but essentially meets all the requirements of a travellers in rush.
Entry and exits need to be managed well as they are always crowded by road side autos.Same true for passengers coming out of complex.

Visited on 27th Dec 2017, impressed with ambience and clean environment. When it comes to food, shocked to see ordinary food with full of oil in vegetables and extremely sweet desserts served. Basundi and Gulab Jamun. Both were having 200% sugar.
Service of the staff is just ok. Overall disappointed and would not go again and not recommended as well looking at the price they are taking quality served.
This is in Inorbit mall where tourist may prefer to go for shopping.
This restaurant does not washroom even and small kid felt like vomit, it was done in dining area.

It was built by Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad of Baroda and is also known as "Kamati Baug".It is the largest public garden in Vadodara sprawling over 100 acres. This garden is home to the Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery, the Sardar Patel Planetarium, and the Sayaji Baug Zoo.There are three entrance gates for this baug.I must say a very clean and well maintained big garden ideal for morning walks and jogging.

It is located inside Sayajibaug. It is having many sections where lot of collection from Sayajirao Gaikwad is displayed. It shows his taste and liking for art and culture. Must see for art, history lovers. You require good time to see it in total (2-3 hours). So keep good time in hand. Extra charges taken for camera here.

I had a great experience visiting Poicha Swaminarayan Temple.
Although I missed the "Sawari" as I was late by 15 mins, but fortunately I attended the "Shyan Aaarti" which was done at 6.45 PM that day instead of 8.30 PM.
It's a place to relax, enjoy and more importantly to get blessed.
Recommended to visit in evening, you can enjoy the lighting as well.

One of the historical places located near the vadodra station, it’s a good place for history lovers as much of the outer structure is still in its original shape. Good for taking pics from outside as the security staff doesnt allow one to enter premises easily.
