Visited with a group of work colleagues. Very nice trip and I would recommend this attraction to everyone that is in the vicinity. We were lucky enough to get an English speaking guide and this made the tour more interesting. she was able to tell us about some of the artifacts that were found from early inhabitants.
The caves were rediscovered in 1979 and opened to the public in 1981. It is one of the top 40 attractions in China. As noted in the previous review, a good set of walking shoes or hiking shoes is a must. The walkways are wet, most of the walkways are wet. The stairs do have non skid surfaces and handrails, but note-this is not handicap acceptable. the entry and exit stairs are steep, similar to a subway or Metro entrance-no escalators or elevators. Also note that it is going to be cool inside the cave, a constant 55 degrees F. So you might want to take a sweater if that is too cold. For me, after the sweltering south China heat, it was wonderful. Also note that it is humid so water is dripping in many places and you may end up with a bad hair day.
There are a number of natural formations that take on the shape described by the guide. If you stare long enough you can make out the shape. There is a short light and laser show in the #3 room just as you exit. It is low tech, but a nice touch.
Parking was available, since we were in a bus I have no idea of the cost.
There were plenty of local vendors selling food and souvenirs along the pathway back to the parking lot.

I visited the park on a busy day. We were expecting to spend here max couple of hours.
The pros
- entrance fee is 65 kuai for adults and 35 for kids, which is ok at such
- parking is no problem, although on holiday you may need to leave your car bit further
- location is just 8 minutes drive from Tonglu city centre
The cons
- there is not much to see really (kids prefer the playing area in any case, waterfall etc. don't offer much)
- safety is an issue (some Bridges and paths are dangerous and kids could well fall down and get hurt)
- they let in lot of people (too many)
If you have nothing better to do in Tonglu, perhaps then it might be ok to visit this "Forest Park".

The Fuchun River snakes past Tonglu County, and it is an integral part of life living in Tonglu. Mornings along the River sees the young and old engaged in activities of various intensities. Fishermen can be seen both on the banks and in boats casting nets, Locals also do their washing in some designated areas. Taichi sessions in the mornings are mirrored by Line dancing sessions in the evenings, and the River banks are always full of life.
