We organaze outdoor activities in Samos island customize Island tours, jeep safari, wine tours, Hiking, Cycling, Climbing, Adventure and Eco tours
We did a cool MTB trip with Giorgos. Starting at Karlovasi we rode past Potami and into the Mountains and forest.
We had plenty of stops at villages, churches, even at the farm of his father to eat some bread with homemade honey. Giorgos is a great guide, who has a lot of knowledge of the area. And on top of that he is fun guy to hang around with.
The mtb's were excellent and well prepared to do the steep climbing in the Mountains
I would really recommend this if you like mountainbiking. I'll definitely do this again next year.

If you are looking for brights lights, Water Parks, Mykonos-type nightlife, don't come to Samos. It isn't known for those things. It is far too uncommercialised for that because it not over-touristed like many of the other Islands are (I'm sorry but any island with a Water Park is over-touristed in my view). Samos is also so much more than Samos Town, which is all you'll see if you come for a day trip here. Kokkari is a nice place but I really preferred Pythagorion as a very pleasant and attractive place to stay. The island is important in terms of classical history and has two very fine (but small) archeology museums (in Pythagorio and Samos Town). There is also some Ancient and Roman ruins that you can view on the island as well as the Tunnel of Equalinos (built as an aquaduct in the 6th century BC and now able to be visited). You can do a day cruise to Ephesus in Turkey very easily (in summer) if you stay on the island. The people are friendly and it isn't over-crowded. The only drawback is the water temperature on the Beaches is a bit cold.

Our coach tour took us here. What a treasure isolated in the hills away from everywhere.
We filled our water bottles from their spring in the courtyard before entering the church. What a sight! What lighting! And what a piece of carving at the rear wall. It took two men to carve it all, and then they went on to make four more of these, apparently - said our very informative guide.

We like the Glicorisa Hotel (and beach bar) for the good service, for the location, which offers a great view to the sea and a nice atmosphere, if you are chilling at the beach bar. Very clean rooms, spacious balconies, nice breakfast Terrace and a fabulous bay. We are happy to know, that Glicorisa exists!

Zoodochos Pigi is a Monastery with a fantastic location on the southside of a mountain, about 7 kilometre east of Samos Town.
From the village Kamara the road go up the mountain with an outstanding view.
Zoodochos Pigi was build 1756.
The Monastery is well maintained with a beautiful church.
I can recommend a day-trip to Zoodochos Pigi.

A beautiful little bay with a great view over the sea. A quiet place for quiet people. The restaurant-food is expensive and not something special.

We are an open air cinema. In our garden we show the latest movie's with a digital projector and Dolby Digital sound. Enjoy food and drinks while watching a movie in open air
Well what could be more perfect, an outside cinema, serving drinks and a meal in the interval. Run by a family, this isn't a multiplex just a great fun place to see a movie. the movies tend to be in English with Greek subtitles, but worth checking in advance. We got there at 7 to buy tickets, but worth ringing ahead and reserving tickets. at 7.50 euros for adults, 5 for children well worth a unique experience

The statue isn't old - you can see some precious ancient statues of the area in the archeological museum in Pythagorio. However, the statue is quite striking and you'll see immediately that it is a great interpretation of the theory for which the man is famous for. It stands at the end of the old section of the harbour (i.e. at the opposite end to which the larger Ferries leave from). Worth a look as you walk around the very pleasant harbour, especially in the evening when it is not so hot.
