I've been there one time and I liked it. The atmosphere is calm, but this mosque is more for tourists, I couldn't relax and meditate there. But they made it amazingly beautiful.

What is outstanding about it is that it contains many things from various spaces of human activity, from archaeology to art, designed and/or found in Bashkiria. almost everything!
I personally just love minerals and paleontology and liked the expo part related to them, very big part!
You can also have a guided tour over this museum, people that work here can give you and introduction into what you see there. What is bad: the tablets near the exhibits are only in bashkir and russian, no even english.
What is great: this museum works on weekends!!!
This is rare feature here in Ufa, mostly the museums work only on workdays. So if you came for weekend, you havr only this museum (and 2-3 others) to look.
But only for this museum you should prepare for 2-3 hours, if you're an attentive listener.

The spot Monument to Friendship stands on is the place of former Ufa Kremlin, a fortress built in the 16th century. This reinforcement was a symbol of Russia's presence in the area. Nowadays the monument is an excellent place for taking pictures and observing the fascinating scenery of Belaya river. There is a legend, that if one 'squeezes' a hand of one of the figures of the bas-relief, a secret way will open to Sergei Aksakov House and Museum situated nearby via secret underground tunnel.

So this is my favourite place to hang out in Ufa. Seats are pallets with cushions, free live music most nights. A kids entertainer in the square while you eat and drink.
The food is basic but good, the drinks limited in choice but overall this place has a happy vibe and everyone is so friendly

Two floors of art. The ground floor is mostly classical art such as Aivazovsky and many works by Nesterov, while during my visit the first floor had art dedicated to the 2nd world war. This involved portraits of soldiers in uniform, but also some very interesting tryptychs which i would describe as anti-war. 150 r.
