We were too late for the tour and had to make-do with external views. Beautiful building.

Clean and no graffiti in sight. Delightful area to stroll after the museum visit and a lunchtime snack. Most of out tour group had similar ideas, two liked it so well that they missed the bus. Not a great number of other persons in evidence, probably lunch time in Frutillar. Some nice metal signage and small art. No one dared to swim. Sun shining from a clear sky after the morning mist and fog. All was well with our world.

Das Museum dokumentiert die Besiedelung der Gegend durch deutsche Kolonisten im 19. Jahrhundert.
You will feel like you are in a Bavarian wonderland with flowers, window-boxes and wood accented buildings everywhere. A visit to this interesting museum will give you insight into the life of German and Austrian settlers who colonized the area toward the end of the 1800s. Not much else to visit here except for the scenic wonders.

This small catholic church is located along the main street along the waterfront in Frutillar. It has a light pink exterior and a basic, but tranquil interior. I wouldn't call this an attraction on its own, but it's worth taking a peek inside if you're passing by. Note: Some of the photos listed are incorrect and show a church in Puerto Varas. I have attached correct photos.

Lutherans knew how to build churches. As we drove yo Puerto Varas from the border via the scenic route small villages had imposing Lutheran church buildings which testify to the German immigration to the area.
The builing in PV is imposing and domjnates the landscape recently supplanted by the theatre.
