This fascinating zoo features 4000 animals representing 399 species, and is active in the preservation and reproduction of endangered species.
Once located in the very city center in a congested space last decade the zoo enjoy the plenty of space in the near suburb area. It is a wonderful place to relax summertime, especially with children

Nice view from plateau, Was quite cold so i recommend to visit on more warm days or just dress up for a walk outside since its got some interesting sights as moon model, lunar rover, sundial and playground for kids also some flowerbeds that ll bloom in summer. As for Planetarium it got some interesting things inside for you to see like some meteorites fragments, black hole model, weighing machine that can tell what will you weight on the different planets and others. There is also some small cafe if you are hungry and souvenirs. It was my first visit to Planetarium since back in school and i cant compare it to others. So for me it was nice but show wasn't good enough since it consisted 3 parts and 1 was interesting for since it was about my city, but others were like cut and sometimes logic was lost.
So all in all its worth a visit, i like views and Exhibitions and Foucault 's tower after the main show.

In truth was disappointed with this railway museum. It is a long way out of town and consists of Russian trains parked outdoors one behind the other. Apart from the trains themselves, no interactive display and no real information available. As a rail enthusiast (we did visit this whilst doing the Trans Siberia across Russia) I was expecting a lot more.

It takes about an hour to pass through all stations. The place is wonderful with mirror labirynth, scientific experiments, anti-gravity room and more. There is also a nice educational games store.

After spending time in the colourful central market , you can see this bronze sculpture. The characters are very expressive and of course my favourite among the three ones is the dog, he is so realistic you can imagine he is going to bark.

The visit to the Glory Monument was a real surprise - this place has a very special feel to it. Got us all talking! How could it not? Appropriately there was an icy chill in the air. Many beautiful trees to admire. We followed this visit with a stroll and refreshments in local restaurant with a warm welcome.

This chapel is right off Lenin Square; easily accessible by subway, and worth a quick walk by on as you're touring the center of town. Interesting contrast-- chapel right across from Lenin statue.
I'm told that this is a standard place to take wedding photos in May-- must be very interesting then!

This apparently is where everyone hangs out on a nice evening. Includes the mandatory Lenin statue, the nearby opera house, and lots of open space. Surprised to see so many skateboards.
