Los Saltos Ecoparque is a natural area where you can see many Waterfalls, located between the cities of La Ceja and Abejorral (Antioquia's East ) about one and a half hours from Medellín by car; there you can find more than 10 Waterfalls, Springs and rivers, you can also enjoy the fauna and flora of our region and perform bird watching. We offer great variety of adventure activities such as: flying in one of the highest canopy in the world, enjoy an hammock's afternoon suspended on our cable at 990 feet high over the river, Climb the climbing wall and carry out trekking ( El Buey and Los Encuentros trails) between rivers, native Forests and traditional crops like coffee, plantain and others.
First of all, it's a bit tricky to get to. While Waze does a decent job, if you miss the exit from the paved road you can spend several hours finding your way back. The owner said they're working on improving signage and that would be really helpful. You take a zipline to cross the canyon and then hike down to the water fall. You can't swim but you'll get 100% soaked through and through from the spray at the base. You can obviously elect how far down you want to go and stay dryer, but a bit of the experience is to be real close. Going back up the steep slope is the hard part, especially if your pants and shoes are wet. Then you cross the canyon back again on another zipline that will bring you back lower than where you took the first zipline. Then another 30 min back to the car on a steep path.

An outstanding day! Perfect way to see the process of coffee farming and production. Went through and experienced all of the steps including planting, harvesting, roasting and tasting. Beautiful setting in countryside by Medellin and great hospitality at Lino's farm. John and Daniella were extremely...MoreThanks for your review! It has everything that little kids like... attractions, swimmingpool and even a little farm. the park is pretty big but does not have a lot of real attractions. I was with my girlfriend there and we pretty quickly finished with walking around. the food is good, the live show funny if you understand it. all in all a family park instead of a allround park. You got kids? GO! You got a dog, a backpack and a bottle of beer? Stay on the streets! ;-)

The little park in the main square of Marinilla, located just in front of the church, seems to be the hub of the town. Cafes and shops line the square. The park offers welcome shade and is a nice space to sit a few minutes and shelter from the sun. Just passing through on the way to Gutape, this was a welcome break and an interesting place to stop a few minutes.
