Based on the concept of meal sharing, the restaurant allows its clients to try different preparations, its plates, served at the center of the table, are elaborated with excellent quality products: freshly caught fish from the Pacific Ocean; spices from Colombia and Asia; herbs, flowers and organic ingredients, etc. Long cooking times are one of the specialties of the house such as short ribs -12 hours braised- in lemon and chili caramel sauce and pork shank glazed in balsamic and orange with creamy mash potato.
This is a trendy restaurant with good food and excellent staff. Located in an area frequented by "foreigners" - menu therefore designed for the traveller/ tourist palette but also popular with local people.
Some delightful meals for vegetarians and our Columbian friend had beef which he thoroughly enjoyed. Good menu selection makes it possible to spend little or loads but it's all good.
Highly professional servers, we didn't book ahead so waited 30 minutes having drinks at the bar before a table became available.
Recommend this restaurant highly.

Argentinian Steak House
Amazing Argentinian steakhouse with quite an extensive menu.
I ordered the beef tenderloin and was surprised at how big of a serving size it was. My partner ordered the T-Bone and also loved it. Cooked perfectly, I have nothing to complain about here.
Service was great as well - Shout out to Ryan our server who helped make the dining experience great.
Food came out quickly which was quite a surprise considering I noticed that most Colombian restaurants take very long in terms of delivering food.
Moderately priced for steak (I'd pay probably double or triple back in North America for what we got) so if you love steak give it a shot!

Inviting you to Malevo restaurant is not just an invitation. It means invite you to our home which is far away from Argentina. Each dish and every song played makes me remind me about my grandmother 's cooking, my family's recipes, the mud oven and its secrets. Vanished into the time, the barbecue and its folklore, The porteña diner and the flavor of our history. We are willing to share with you all of these features and additionally, a combination of sorrow and happiness present in the fire which lights our hearts and open our doors.
The positives:
- Quaint, homely setting.
- Reasonably priced cuts in comparison to Europe, but a shame about the quality.
The negatives:
- Terribly slow service. We arrived before 9pm; it was midweek and the restaurant was not especially busy. We didn’t receive our food until gone 10pm, and then the order was wrong.
- We chose imported cuts on the advice of the waiter and our expectations were fairly high. The short rib was tasty but very little meat on it. On the other hand, the rump was huge, but lacked flavour. Perhaps the cheaper local cuts would have been better value, but our choices certainly didn’t live up to expectations and were not a patch on some steaks we’ve had back home.

The best Sushi, Ramen and Teppanyaki in town!! The traditional japanese food and great restaurant.
I read the reviews on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed.
The service was excellent, the restaurant has a very nice ambiance and the food was very good. I had a basic dish of chicken and beef with rice. I went with two friends their food looked very good and they said it was good.
I would certainly go back and try something different to give a better description of the food quality but for what I got, I liked.

Full disclosure - I'm not historically a fan of either small plate or fixed menu places and this had both BUT I left with a new attitude. The whole experience was wonderful and we left satisfied but not stuffed. We arrived at their normal 7pm opening time and were told (politely!) that they were opening late today because they were debuting a new menu and would be training the staff etc. We went somewhere for a drink and then returned at 8. We sat outside on a wonderful courtyard patio with a view in the kitchen window. Each course (of 10 or so) was delivered and explained simply but carefully - all were predominately native Colombian ingredients served in interesting ways. Our bill was on the high end, cost-wise, by Medellin standards (although not at all by US standards), but part of that was because we were enjoying the evening so much we had two bottles of wine. Regardless, it was WELL worth it! Service was EXTREMELY good.

As I was looking for a restaurant near our hotel, my daughter grabbed my phone and happened to press on this restaurant. As she was flipping through the photos, she was saying "I want this, and this, and this". I looked at the photos and they looked delicious!
We walked and could not find the restaurant anywhere! We asked at a place near by and they showed us the door (with no sign) with a flight of stairs. My husband went up to scout the location and told us all to come up and check it out. We went up, and the decor is super eclectic! We decided to give this place a try and WOW we were not disappointed!
We ordered the chicharrón, the calentado, the buñuelos, aguacate stuffed beef, and the carimañola. Every dish was amazing! We ordered all this for 5 people (4 adults and a toddler that has a refined palate and eats a lot). A lot of food for all of us but worth it to try everything.
If going later on at night I would suggest making a reservation since we almost didn't get a table because of them. (We arrived at 6pm and left around 7pm).
Highly highly recommended especially if you get tired of typical dishes constantly.
