Take a walk through a mix of what Mother Nature has to nature. There are more than one kind of forest in Scandinavia and as you walk through this place you can see the difference between a few of them. You can also get to the beach, and up on the top you have a splendid view overlooking both the dense forest and the beach... all in all this is a great experience.

Not to be missed if you are in this beautiful area. You pass through a wood of apple trees. There are some exibitions inside and information about making the cider and juice. In the eastern outskirts at Kivik you find the big bronze age cairn "Kiviksgraven" and Café Sågmöllan (sawmill). The 3 500-year-old bronze age mound hides a cist coved with petroglyphs. The images tell us about travel, both living and spiritual, rituals and ceremonies. They also show us musical instruments, clothing and objects. The cairn with its unique coffin, however, is not the oldest grave monument which stood here. When the cairn was built, an already 2,000 year old burial site, was torn down. The oldest grave discovery from a pit under the mound is actually 6,000 years! The youngest is from the late iron age, around 550 AD. You find the whole prehistoric Österlen in one place! On the property, you also find the oldest café in the area Café Sågmöllan. We are open May-September.

The English Garden is a romantic and charming garden with lots of flower-power. It is filled to the brim with a large variety of plants in carefully combined colour schemes. There are many different "rooms", each one with its own character and atmosphere, designed to give the visitor a varied, interesting and inspirational experience with plenty of ideas to take home. The garden takes its inspiration from English Gardens, and here is also a small but well-stocked plant shop. Open Thursday-Sunday, 11-17 between May and September. Welcome!

Llegamos a Kivik y la sensación de tranquilidad y relax que percibes al llegar al puerto es única. Merece la pena pasearse un par de horas por el pueblo y sacarse algunas fotos

Kiviks Museum är en liten pärla, ett kanske för många okänt besöksmål på en annars stor turistort. Museet ligger i en källare och är inte handikappanpassat, men det är mysigt, sevärt och personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam. Lite minus i kanten för att det inte finns toalett, men det är inte personalens fel att man inte kan erbjuda det i byggnaden. Trevliga guidade vandringar och ett digert program med föreläsningar och aktiviteter erbjuder man också för alla åldrar året runt! Imponerande av ideella krafter!

Piraten har kanske mer än någon annan satt Österlen på kartan. Denne kärnfulle författare underhåller oss fortfarande med sina berättelser. Man blir glad när man står vid statyn och tänker på alla dråpliga kommentarer och citat som förknippas med Pireten.

Vingård i Fantastig omgivning på sköna Österlen vid vägen mot Haväng. Proffsig presentation och möjlighet till provsmakning av goda svenska viner. Samarbete med vingården i Klagshamn. Väl värd ett besök!
