The WFFT wildlife rescue center is a rescue center for injured, confiscated and neglected wild animals. The wildlife rescue center operates a fully equipped wildlife hospital. We care for monkeys, gibbons, wild cats, bears, birds, reptiles and even elephants.
A day to remember! A unique glimpse into the important work they do and into the lives of the animals. You get very close - incredibly close - to the elephants in particular. The staff are so motivated and enthusiastic that it's catching. All is very professionally organised and the concept is well thought out. Definitely worth going, probably to day you will remember best from your holiday.

The restorations work is really a downer, because it ruins the impressions. I understand the need, but they left equipment everywhere, even in places they obviously were not working at now. It will probably be great when they are finished. we came late in the day so the monkeys didn`t bother us, they had probably eaten enough for the day
worth a stop if you are passing by, but I wouldn't`t drive out of my way for this

Huge national parc in which you can, if you're luckier than us, spot some wild elephants. We have visited the dam and the Pal-a-U waterfall. You can certainly visit the area with a normal car. A map is available at the camping by the dam. The waterfall area is very slippery in rain season and dangerous to visit with small children. You have to cross some rocks by ropes. Adventurous experience. Although it is nowhere written, I would advise to do the climb with children aged minimum 7 years and in good shape.

This place is about a 1-1.5 hour drive from the city. There are not that many tourists out here (vast majority locals or Thais). The waterfall was decent but nothing too spectacular. I still say if you have the time and if you are in Hua Hin, do check the place out. However, be ready for slippery conditions. Take your time to cross and walk on rocks. I unfortunately took several tumbles into the water trying to cross it. There are five levels that you are able to walk through.

Look Up Teak Summer Palce Hua Hin
I would advise to give it a pass as there is hardly anything to see especially when the main palace is under heavy refurbishment.
To visit, one has to be wary of the dresscode...no shorts above the knee for all, and no exposed arms for women

Chang Hua Man is a wonderful place:
-To enjoy beautiful landscape in the heart of the mountain
-To learn about traditional culture of Thai farmers & green energy
-To relax in a very peaceful & quiet place ( very few tourists )
-To play bicycle for 1,2,3 people, very funny! ( free of charge )
45mn from the Cha Am & Hua Hin Beaches, by visiting this place you will come back in your country with another idea of Thailand. People at that place are very nice.
Just out of CHM, there is a very small shop for food & drink ( easy to park ). Don't hesitate to stop there; you will meet the true of Thailand: nice people, local habits & true smiles.
Since we visited CHM 2 years ago, we are going back many times to this place with our good friends who want to discover something that usually only local peoples could see.
Our children love this place so much. My small son has been very exciting to share this experience with his friends’ truth the blog of his school.
CHM is a royal project of his majesty Bhumibol, the king of Thailand. If you are lucky, you may have chance to visit CHM when the king is there. But don't dream, you could not discuss with him :-)

Visited the place after strong recommendation by the tour guide . No tickets is required to go to this place . We had our lunch there at the restaurant inside this place. Restaurant price is reasonable and food was ok.
The farm is the terrible one. Feel so sad and sorry for the animals there. They use a cane to cane the animals which we saw a few times and stopped them . Animals were placed under the hot sun. We spent 200 baht to buy food for the animals . They all seemed to be very hungry and Starved So for the tourist to buy them more food . as though that they were not given enough food but depending on tourist to buy them. The farm is dirty too. The animals were not well taken care by them . Please don’t visit them and encourage this.

The five white pinnacled stupas are very distinctive and a landmark of Phetchaburi. However, we were disappointed to see water animals for sale at the entrance gate (for example two fully grown frogs in a small plastic bag filled with water) which appeared cruel in the heat of the day; our rating of this site would have been higher but for this.
That aside, the temple is beautiful and the statues on the roof are the best that we've seen this trip. Certainly worth removing shoes in order to enter the main hall.
We saw more tourists at this temple, than at any other in Phetchaburi, therefore, if short on time, this is probably one of the 'must sees' in our opinion. If you have more time, there are plenty of other, less grand temples in the vicinity.

This is the second time we went here (last time was 3 years ago).
We can see the farm continues to make improvements, e.g. X'mas and Halloween decorations, rabbit house etc.
Lots of places to interact with farm animals, e.g. sheep, horse, rabbit, duck, etc.
Kids would love this place!
