I cannot stand being on a crowded boat. I do not dive frequently and I would like to have the attention and watchful eye of the dive master. Dive Grenada is first rate with safety, comfort and enjoyment. This is boutique diving. The owner, Phil, a Brit, has a lifetime of experience and will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable diving experience. They take a maximum of 6 divers. Our dive master was excellent. Very knowledgeable and he pointed out so many interesting creatures that we would have never spotted. He also made sure that we were ok and helped with any difficulties. My difficulty is getting back on board. This was made easy for me as the captain assisted me and the ladder was also easier getting up, as it had a less acute incline. My daughter and I did 4 dives. I particularly enjoyed a wreck dive.
Diving with Dive Grenada was one of my favorite diving experiences. I highly recommend using them. As they only take a few people on any dive, I suggest booking well in advance.

House of Chocolate

House of Chocolate is a very unique and beautiful hand crafted mini-museum-boutique, chocolateria-cafe portraying the history of chocolate in the world and Grenada. Specialize on local organic chocolate.

Reviewed By Patrick G - Virginia Beach, Virginia

There's a lot packed into this little store. Just after the entrance is a history of cocoa cultivation on the island including pictures and original equipment. There is, of course, a whole range of chocolate and spice items for sale, along with samples of the various chocolates to try. There is a little treat counter in the back with chocolate and spice flavored desserts, drinks and ice cream - fantastic! Most of all, you are bathed in the smell of cocoa as soon as you walk in; it is quite intoxicating, even for a non-chocoholic like me. Well worth a quick visit.

Grand Anse Beach

Long, lovely sweep of white sand fronted by turquoise blue water and backed by hills.

Off our cruise ship and caught a water taxi just north of the pier. Cost $10-US pp for round trip. Took about 20 minutes to run to Grand Anse Beach. One of the longest white sand Beaches on Grenada. Could have also taken the local bus with a grey circle on the wind
shield with the #1 inside. This costs 2.50 EC or $1-US pp one way and they run frequently. Taxis also will get you there and back at a more substantial cost. Lounge chairs and umbrellas available for a fee. Very nice beach.

Very accomdating, booked a trip out to the marine park at flamingo bay and the sculpture park with them ($55usd per person). Comfortable ride on tge boat, small groups and they give you enough time to explore in an unhurried atmosphere. At the sculpture park my sister was having a bit anxiety and one of the guides put her in the life ring and pulled her along while he swam so that she wouldn't miss seeing the sculptures. The guides were knowledgeable of the sites and history of the sculptures as well as the types of marine life. Overall a great experience and would gighly recommend them for the tours. Also they are located comfortably on grand anse beach.

MitSukha was my first yoga teacher when I started 3 1/2 years ago, and although I have enjoyed working with other teachers, I will always consider her my mentor in yoga. She is wonderful at working with peoples' strengths and weaknesses, challenging those she knows, and gently encouraging first time visitors. I have taken numerous guests to her classes, and even those who haven't found a connection to yoga before are taken by the loving atmosphere she develops. I hope to have her help in continuing my yoga practice for many more years to come!
