We didn't experience the Park by hiking. We drove through with a few stops to take photos and look at the views. This was a very nice drive and the Fall colors were awesome!

If you have taken the road out around Gaspè Peninsula, you MUST at least stop at the overlook to see this beautiful rock with a hole pierced in it! The day we stopped there was a boat touring around the rock and we have photos of the boat through the hole. It is a lovely sight! As we walked in the town,mWe saw you can take boat rides to the hole and to the Isle of Bonaventure. There are millions of gannets on the island.

Historic site of North America’s first maritime radio station (installed by Marconi in 1904). Location offers a lookout with scenic vistas as well as the possibility to visit exhibits covering Marconi, light house keepers and the history of radio communication at Pointe-à-la-Renommée.
We planned to stop here but given my GPS not doing so well with French Canadian addresses, I was not sure that we would be able to find it. I was very pleased to see the signage right along the road, the location is very well marked. The lighthouse is very well kept and each of the buildings has been very nicely restored. The guide was friendly and did his best to give us the tour in English, I believe the cost was $10 each. I would highly recommend this stop.

If you are interested in the First Nations, this site is a must see. There are excellent exhibits in the newly-built visitor centre but the visit to reconstructions of Miqmac homes with a knowledgeable guide was most informative. Thank you Noel.

As the region's museum institution, the Musée de la Gaspésie is the perfect place to discover-or rediscover-the beautiful Gaspé peninsula. The permanent exhibition entitled Gaspésie... A Grand journey! and the various seasonal Exhibitions held at the museum revolve around the history, art, heritage and culture of the region's people. The museum is also home to the Centre d'archives de la Gaspésie, regional archives that are open to the public for genealogical and other research. In addition, the Musée also publishes Magazine Gaspésie, Québec's first historical magazine, which will charm you with its quality content and diverse subject matter. Come discover the beautiful Gaspé peninsula!
It is safest to walk along the bay side from the town to this interesting building as a walk along the road necessitates a dash across what is a busy highway. The bay side walk is lovely and lots of photo opportunities across the bay. Inside, the cafe looks dull and the exhibits other than the one on local food and cookery are very average.

While small and abandoned, Fort Peninsula is more complete than comparable WW2 era coastal fortifications I have seen in New England, as it retains the two guns in the bunker, and includes some signage in English and French. Other than the guns, the bunker complex itself is empty magazine chambers and a long corridor. There are trails, picnic tables, and the views to admire beyond the relics of the war.

We enjoyed our 2 1/2 hour horse ride along the beach and in the forest. Guide was interesting and gave us simple explanations. Horses were nice. This is a great activity to do on a warm sunny day! Wear long pants, socks and good shoes. Wear sunscreen and bug spray too!

This terrific and beautiful trail skirts the edge of Gaspé Bay and goes for quite a ways. Beautiful scenery, benches, park, and even a permanent art exhibit and monument to Jacques Cartier. Well worth the time. I walked it in about 45 minutes and wasn't speeding, but rather taking it all in.
