A calm, unspoiled peninsula on the Bielersee that offers kilometers of dirt paths for biking and walking. The St. Peter's Island is a place for picknicking, swimming, observing flora, and just enjoying nature. Stop at the Monastery Restaurant for a nice fruit tarte or home made ice cream.

A recommander absolument. Un petit paradis sur terre avec une magnifique symbiose entre nous et la nature. Idéal pour les familles avec des enfants à partir de 6 ans.

A great place to spend a rainy day. Three main exhibits:
- butterfly pavillion
- nocturnal animals exhibit
- jungle trek
Butterflies were great. Especially liked the gigantic Atlas Moth.
Highlight was the nocturnal animals exhibit with bats flying freely throughout brushing up against your cheeks!! My wife and kids freaked out. I loved it!!!
Just a great cozy and well curated zoo. Weather kept us from seeing the outdoor exhibits but nevertheless was all worth it!!!

Event-Winery Winetastings Regional-Food Winewalking Touristic attractions VIP - Events
We visited as part of a prearranged tour organized through CountryBred travel. This was the highlight of our trip to Switzerland due to the wonderful personalities of Martin and Elena. They welcomed us into their winery, served us great food, and took us on a walking tour of the vineyards. It is a very small and intimate place. We sat at their table, enjoying great food and wine, while chatting with them for hours. It made us feel like we were sitting at our kitchen table with longtime friends.

I am not normally interested in archeology but this place is fantastically interesting both for children and adults. I walked from Neuchatel and had not originally intended to visit this place but it is unavoidable when you walk along the lake in the direction of Biel.
It is quita large and well laid out. It is interesting and they have made it or laid it out in such a way as to fit with the natural landscape of Lake Neuchatel.
I recommend this higly. Take the time as it is well worth it for both adults and children.

It was interesting to walk the walls of this medieval town. Nice photo opportunities along the way. It was not busy the day I visited so I had the place almost to myself.

In English or French (German or Chinese by prior arrangement), Mon to Fri only.
A great experience and had a good and insightful look behind the scenes of the watches we love.
Thanks Roy for the excellent arrangement.
The staff at the factory we visited were also very friendly and informative and patient with our queries!

Planeta Magic is a small indoor playground with a cafeteria. There is a big trampoline (for up to six kids), a bouncy castle, two ball pools with slides (one for toddlers, the other one for young children) and other small games (railway track, little cars, a garden house, etc). The cafeteria serves pizzas and croque-monsieurs, crisps, chocolate, biscuits... basically snacks. It's not big but for younger children it's great, especially in winter when it's too cold to go outside. For older kids (over 9 or 10 years old) it might be boring though. Adults enter for free, one child (unlimited time) costs 10.- CHF
