I happened to visit this place during my travel to Germany for a Oil massage and was extremely satisfied! I think it is one of the best places to get authentic Thai Massage in German.y. The Masseuse are well trained and have extensive knowledge about the subject. you have a variety of Oils to choose from and indulge into the aroma of the essential oils which transform you to another part of the world! Best part is they understand your pain areas and render perfect treatment to relieve you of your pain and make you feel as light as a feather, you immediately have a sense of well being ,feel refreshed and charged after your long travel tiredness.I definitely recommend this place for getting refreshed and recharging yourselves.
Must visit place!

Spent a few hours looking around this place on a Sunday in Germany, easy to find and easy (and free) to access. If you don't mind the steps you'll get some amazing views and the scale of the engineering is jaw dropping.

This huge vessel has lots of history and was important to the area for many years: there are plenty of boards with info as you walk towards the entrance. It was dark inside on all the levels, where we walked around and enjoyed the photo exhibition of natural history, and the rotating planet earth at the top of the vessel. Interesting and unusual.

Sehr lehrreich!

This is certainly something thats unique and unusual. Especially in the Bottrop area of Germany, which isn't really a tourist hotspot. So its certainly a hidden gem to the more western visitors. But i do highly recommend, as it is so picturesque and unique. It makes for a great little hike to get to the pyramid, and once there, a very vertical stroll all the way up to the top. If you are scared of heights this probably isn't for you, but if you want to see a great 360 view of some German landscape, whilst onto of some modern architecture, then this is a must.

Certainly probably the best thing to do in the city of Duisburg, the Zoo is located about 4-5 mins away on the tram. Entry admission prices are standard as they would be for other zoo's. Some notable attractions include the Koala's, Siberian Tigers and South American houses. We did not see any of the bird Exhibitions as there was an outbreak of bird flu in Germany at the time and all the bird's were places indoors. We arrived at 15.30pm on a Sunday, 3.5 hours before the zoo was due to close. However, many of the animals had been places back in their houses well before closing time and as a result we missed out on many of the animals. We were not told that this was going to be the way when we paid for our tickets on the way in. We also thought that some of the animals looked unhappy in their enclosures and seemed aggravated, insecure and/or uneasy. This was really only limited to a few though and most of the animals seemed happy. There was a great Chinese garden there and it is well worth exploring for a while! Overall it was a good experience and it is worth visiting if in the city of Duisburg.
