Great day of hiking. Scenery amazing and trails well groomed and marked clearly. Terrain can be difficult at times depending on your skillset but the views are well worth the trek.

Blue Mountain Ski Resort

Reviewed By Catherine H - Owen Sound, Canada

I have many experiences skiing at Blue with family and with school groups. Overall, all staff are very friendly, kind and most helpful. Lessons are exemplary with safety, encouragement and expertise. Today, skiing with my children, my daughter had a 'wipe-out', not resulting in a serious injury, but a ski broken in half. (That being said, as a teacher, when serious injuries did occur, safety patrol was always quick, thorough, professional and kind.) Today, fellow skiers were helpful, and a lift operator at bottom of hill was so kind to stay with my girl until I could get to her. He called an on-demand shuttle to help us return to our car. Then, Hillside store staff were expertly knowledgeable to help us buy new skiis, for a super deal, with patience, and words of encouragement. A beautiful day on the slopes, with an unfortunate twist, but a happy ending, and my family is very grateful for the kindness extended to us by all staff.

Great area for walking or biking or just sitting to enjoy a picnic. There is a food concession if you don't make a picnic from your own food. Not to much of a beach but great for those who can swim(I"M not one of those). Just wonderful to look out to the water and feel peace and relaxation!

Definitely a great stop for some beer. I must say my favourite out of the selection is the wheat beer. The service is excellent, the bartender explained thoroughly each flavour to my boyfriend and I and continued to check up on us! We bought a 12 pack to bring home and a bottle for a great price. Would go again :)

Drinking beer at the brewery where it was made doesn’t get better. Beer that was brewed from the finest ingredients available, in small batches, which allows the brewers to keep a close eye on quality and precision, then follows a perfectly executed transfer and fermentation process, to then travel just a few feet away to your glass is, well – nirvana.

Delish beers on tap (everything they make is outstanding; with a beer for every tastebud). Casual, happening, friendly place to checkout, ...daily! All that you need in one spot for lunch, afternoon social or drinks and dinner. Don't let the crafted beers outshine the kitchen. There is a seriously amazing chef in that kitchen. Menu has a great variety..but think carnavore for some of the best selections - yum! Taps rotate every 3 weeks so always a new surprises at NWB...Full bar offering as well - rhubarb margarita is interesting or perhaps a zin with serious portion of ribs! Celebrate.

It was a rainy day so we stopped in as other attractions were closed. Wanted to let kids have fun and we all enjoyed it.
Reception staff very courteous.
Indoor 'spa' (hot tub) closed. Outdoor hot tub jet not working.(apparently for weeks/months according some we met there). In fairness this was stated on a board at the front desk just disappointing.
Both urinals in men's washroom out is service leaving one toilet to serve and well it wasn't a dry area.
Echo the dirty part. At one end I seemed to be standing in sand. The dirt in the hot tub was very visible. We saw someone fix a drain cover but not clean the pools in the 2.5 hours we were there.
Towel and chair thing mentioned by others is true. A solution would be small lockers on deck.
Agree that a public pool with slides and a rope would have been just as good and less expensive. At about $15 a person, it was expensive for the quality of the venue.
But it did the trick so if you are stuck on a rainy day.
