One of the most popular festivals in Brazil, Barreto’s Cowboy Festival celebrates all things rodeo, and features a huge range of events and attractions connected to the country’s cowboy and hinterland traditions. From bull riding to bullock cart processions, folkloric dancing to horse riding shows, for fans of country culture, there’s no greater place to be in August than this 110-hectare park, complete with a horseshoe-shaped stadium designed by famous Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer.
I have family and friends in Barretos, which led me to go see the rodeo festival even though I'm not that big a fan of country music. The festival is huge, quite well organised as it provides the big crowd everything they need to have a good time. There's countless food and beverage stalls, a stack of shows every night and even a dedicated children's area, with farm animals and games for the little ones to see an enjoy. Remember to pack your boots and jeans and a hat, not only to blend in with the crowd but to endure the sun and dirt typical of the farm! :)

Very we'll impressed. Was waiting a small mall from the countryside. Saw good stores, good brands, clean, nice temperature. Food court was also very well served, with know restaurant chains. Not sure whether someone goes to Barrett's to see the mall, but if you buying or eating something typical from malls you may find it.

Despite the prices for food and drinks they practice at park, it was calm and nice to stay a day in this place. I children loved.

O teatro por fora não representa tanto o que é por dentro, é muito grande e bonito, vale a pena conhecê-lo, ou se tiver em interesse em alguma peça que tiver sendo apresentada, vale a pena assistir.
