What can we say!! Nature outdoes us every time! An amazing experience made all the better by the superb and sympathetic access. Might be a bit claustrophobic for some and there are a couple of steep sections, but overall the walkways, lighting and narrative was great, making this an amazing experience for a very reasonable entrance fee.

A few steps away from the Plaza Municipal, you can walk uphill to this church on the Hill, this gives you also some bright views over the area, the entrance to the church is free, and you have also a small shop at the entrance, interesting place to visit.
You can also drive with the car to the church.

We almost all are interested in what we are eating nowadays. So that's the way to discover the Excellent Jamón Iberico. The characteristics of the Iberian Pig = Pata Negra. Their history-The food -the pastures- the climat-slaughter- and how to cut the ham. How to recognize the label of the Pata Negra. Very interesting for our nutrition.

Recinto fortificado – Aracena.
After you have visited the Iglesia Prioral Del Castillo, by leaving the church walk to the right again a bit uphill, and after about 100 meters you will arrive on the ruins from the “Recinto Fortificado” de Aracena, there is a stair to enter but on the moment of our visit it was closed, so we cannot show you some pictures from the inside, but when visiting the church you should also see this place.
