We ski here again and as last year the weather is perfect. The ski areas are prepared perfectly. Italian and especially Slovenian ski resorts have to from this guys here how to prepare the tracks. This is just perfect especially in the morning when you are one off the first to come BUT even true the whole day there is big damaged to the tracks
I RECOMMEND!!!!

The Scharfetter family runs has a top notch equestrian facility in a beautiful location. They offer lessons with their schooling horses that are perfect for more novice riders. If looking for an equestrian experience while on holiday, I would highly recommend the Steiner Reitschule.

We were here with two kids (6,8) and they loved (!!!) it.
Just before the cable car ride the kids get to see Wagrini (with some candies). The ride itself is very nice and you can start seeing the beautiful views of the surrounding Mountains.
Once you arrive there's a big playground, right in front of you, with a big trampoline, a small lake with rafts, bridge and rocks to cross it.
From this point, there's a nice trail with great views for us and numerous special Playgrounds that mesmerize the kids, they can hang there forever...
We loved it and we've spent there about half a day.

I loved this place. My kids loved this place. After a long day skiing, my wife and I enjoyed a soak in a heated outside pool while it snowed on us. There was a laser light show that my kids enjoyed. I highly recommend this place.

We have been here for the first time and sorry to say it was not so good. First is hard to talk to the staff on the cashier true the window and you can not see him inside. After buying the ticket we didn't get any instruction how and what to do. We have been waiting for some time and the staff member in one moment decided to open the door of his office and didn't even won't to come out of the office and help. He told us that all is written on the wall.
The slide himself is not bad but this give us a bad impression of all....

We have had our youngest (Alexander, 8 years) in ski school for 5 whole days with Helene. She’s fantastic!! “The best ski school teacher ever” said my son. My oldest (Christoffer, 11 years) has had privet lessons by Nicolai Riis. He was a great teacher for young boys. I myself have had privet lessons by Laura. Super sweet and very good teacher. We will for sure use your school again! See you next year!

I booked my son, aged 9 into ski school. He thoroughly enjoyed the classes and everyday his improvement was noticeable.
I booked a private lesson for myself with the owner Gerd and had a fabulous morning improving my skills and getting to know the area.
I highly recommend this ski school and would use them again.

Segway Trip at Fachnau with Hermann Maier Ski School
We had one day at Fachnau, a day trip from Salzburg into the snow. Even though it was mid January there was no snow in the town so the free shuttle bus run by the Fachnau ski lift company seemed like a good idea. It leaves at 8.30am share from Mirabell Platz, just ten minutes walk from our hotel in the LinderGazze. The Bus Manager, nicknamed the Professor because he spoke seven languages was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and offered us a range of options for the day but we chose to wait until we arrived to assess the possibilities as we are all ski novices. Being off-peak season there were not likely to be long queues. We enjoyed a coffee on arrival then decided to book a Segway trip for the afternoon. None of us had ever been on Segways before but the Segway guide Sebastian was terrific and showed us how to use them in a fifteen minute practice session. We then set off through the village and along side foot paths and secluded roads for a one and a half hour adventure that we will never forget. The paths took us up the mountain on the opposite side of the valley, through snowfields and villages to a restaurant with a panoramic view of the valley where we enjoyed a large hot chocolate before making the descent. Even our eleven year old daughter was adept at using the Segway despite a minor spill on a section of ice which Sebastian assured us happens to the best of us, but no serious harm done and we continued back just in time to make our four pm bus back to Salzburg. Delightful experience, good value and a tremendous guide. Highly recommended for those who like us are complete ski novices or anyone who has wanted to try these unusual machines. What better place than the Austrian Alps.
