This restaurant was chosen because it was on the way to our hotel. Portions were very big and the food was traditional and tasty. Service was also ok. I can fully recommend this restaurant wiht old Polish deisgn. Prices maybe a little bit too high for this location.

Filet z kurczaka z fetą I suszonymi pomidorami smakowite. Zestaw Apollo duży i oceniony na dobry. Tzatziki lekkie i dobre z greckiego jogurtu. Sałatka Choriatiki jako samodzielne danie trochę zbyt mała ale jako dodatek do dań bardzo dobra. Można też kupić oryginalne greckie produkty do domu. Ceny przystępne. Do tego herbaty w dobrym gatunku.

Visited while on a tour. Better than the usual cheap imitation local food that most tours provided, this felt more like a local place to eat. The food was nice, drinks nice. Friendly service. Would revisit.
Tip: There is an ice cream kiosk opposite for desert.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the ruins at Ogrodzieniec and had a wonderful lunch. Menus are available in English as well as Polish in this simple but elegant restaurant which also has banquet rooms for events. The placek Hetmański z gulaszem, serem, śmietaną i surówką, which one of us had, was what I wished I had ordered, even though my dish was great as well. Placek in this case is a kind of potato pancake with beef, cheese, cream and raw vegetables. That description doesn't really do it justice. Enormous portion but wasn't drowned in cheese so that was nice. I had the polędwiczka wieprzowa nadziewana borowikami i boczkiem wędzonym w sosie myśliwskim, which was pork loin stuffed with porcini mushrooms and smoked bacon with lots of delicious gravy. The others in our party had grilled pork loin with grilled pickled veggies, which sound bizarre but were very good and filet z kurczaka z pieczarkami w śmietanie or chicken filet with champignon mushrooms and cream. Plates of marchewka ("marhefka") and apple salads all around and we were set. They serve a decent espresso, too, which was the Segafredo brand (not Lavazza as pictured in the menu). Highly recommended place with good prices and service.

We've visited this place only twice but on both occasions the food and service was very good. We recommend it if your on the way from Dąbrowa Górnicza to Zawiercie and you're looking for a place to have some good lunch or dinner.

Good place to eat after or before Ogrodzieniec castle visit. Nothing special, but good quality Polish home food.

Ci tornerei subito.

I tried almost everything on the menu, from the steaks to the salad and everything is good and very nicely served! Definitely a place to go in Zawiercie

I’ve visited this bistro every summer over the last three years and until recently I’ve really liked it. The dining area is pleasant, however the quality of the food has worsened. The garlic butter shrimps seemed to have been cooked in butter that had some sort of thickening-agent added, this could be said for the duck dumpling/pierogi sauce. The pasta was okayish. I must add that in this establishment, the local beers/ales are truly wonderful.
