Zandvort is to Amsterdam what Brighton is to London--a large seaside resort easily reached by train. It takes half an hour to get there from Central Station. It has a long sandy beach and, in common with the rest of the Netherlands coastline, an expanse of sandy dunes which serve to protect the low lying country from the sea. In the summer months, beach bars catering to all tastes line this beach. It is also the site of the Netherlands' most important car racing circuit.

"Andrea" is a picturesque italian restaurant in the city of Zandvoort. We tasted spaghetti carbonara and pizza capricioza. The dishes were delicious, the portions large, the prices ragional ana the lady owner very friendly. Absolutely recommended.

The owner told us that they had been operating for 41 years, and what this restaurant offers is very good, well cooked food, with fresh ingredients, and a great deal of TLC. We had soups - a lobster soup and fish soup, both obviously home made and delicious. We followed this with the North Sea fish mix, which is a seriously understated title for a mass of delicious fish, dover and lemon sole, plaice, cod, squid...
It was never going to be easy to finish; but we did. No room for pudding, but the coffee was excellent.
The staff were very friendly.

We, a family of 4, have visited filoxenia restaurant for dinner after a day at the Keukenhof park. We appreciate good food and Filoxenia is definitively a place to be if you are around Zandvoort. Apart from the food there is a very good decoration, excellent Greek wine, and pleasant service. Bottom line: a place you must visit!!!

A place for everyone, locals, tourists, friends. Very good food. The carpaccio, ham with honeydew melon, pizza ham and pasta with garlic and peperoni were very good (very tasteful), made with love. The hosts Giuliano and Bernadette are very nice and friendly en so is the rest of the staff. The just started to serve lunch (not open all afternoon) call them to find out.

We just a had a cup of tea and a coffee and a quick lunch (soup & sandwich). Service was quick and very friendly. Food was good (nothing extraordinaire though) and the atmosphere was right. If you plan on going somewhere for a quick bite, you might as well come here :)

This restaurant sits on the beach in Zandvoort and has spectacular views where you can sit indoor/outdoor to watch the sunset. Great food, too!

One of the many beachrestaurants along the beach of Zandvoort. Restarted with new owners in 2015 and was immedialtly a great succes. The name of the restaurant covers its ambiance. It has this little letterjoke in it and you could translate the name as Pleasand (yes, with a D, like in sand ;-) And pleasant it is. Informal, beachy, fabulous food that might as well be served in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and a very friendly staff. And yet Plazand is very affordable, especially the weekly menus. In one summerseason Plazand has become so popular already that it is wise to reserve a table. This place has only one disadvantage; it's only there during spring and summer.

Had a nice meal here with friends. Nice decor and friendly staff. Food was 7 out of 10 probably due to being there in off season. Summer time is always better in this area when it comes to eating. A bit high price

This is where you get what you want, in any shape or colour. And with a chat from chef or anybody there. In a wonderful setting, combine with a beach walk or Haarlem visit.
There is the question if there could be a third star, I would say YES, because this is no place where you feel uncomfortable at any point of time and if you pay the price (YES) you get the max. We had lobster, coquilles, sea bass, pheasant and oysters, and could have had meat, cheese and sweets, but just did not do so (this time). Wow what a place. Must DO!
And yes you can park...

Came for dinner on Saturday 24 September, booked via Social Deal for 12 euros per person for a three course meal.
No one welcomed us, no one seated us, the service was an absolute chaos, took 1.5 hours for the main course to come.
I know people will think, you get what you pay for, but other people in the restaurant paid more and still got the same shoddy service.
Mr Meijer, stop using Social Deal, or close the deal when you have enough Reservations - the staff couldn't cope, you get more service in McDonalds and more eye contact with an autistic person.
Food was good - complements to the chef
