Located in the Sebel Resort which is the former historic Rum Corp Barracks, the resturant oozes ambience and the pianist playing softly in the background sets the scene for a p,wasn't night out.
The Hawkesbury is short on good resturant offerings and I would add Harvest to the shortlist.vwhile the food isn't to a "hatted" standard, the food we had on the night was well prepared, lots of flavour and fresh.
There is a good selection of dishes which would suite most tastes and enough vegetarian offerings to round out the menu.
The wine list is solid and the prices reasonable.
Good friendly and attentive service rounded out a very p,easing evening
We hadn't eaten here for a long time but the chef has changed and the standard improved out of sight.

Been a year or two since we last visited and all the reasons we stopped coming here flooded back.
Notwithstanding it was a quiet midweek evening, the service was very slow and towards the end of the night the Waitstaff staff were more interested in chatting with the kitchen than tending to customers.
The food quality across the 5 meals our group shared was fairly ordinary and nothing really stood out.
They have a small but reasonable wine list so all was not completely lost on the night out here.
There are far better dining options in the local district and it will be a long time before we venture back to Bivianos again

I visited Windsor Chinese on a Saturday night with some relatives (twelve of us in total). The menu was very big and there was a large variety to choose from. Seven of my relatives ordered the $28 buffet menu, whilst myself and four others ordered separate dishes.
For entrees I had the chicken and corn soup and my husband the short soup, and both were delicious. Main meals came out in a very reasonable amount of time, considering the big group we were in. Both the buffet menu and the individual meals, were large servings and tasted very good. The staff were also very friendly and allowed us to split the bill.
Whilst the restaurant itself is very outdated, the food and value for menu is great. Highly recommended if you are after Chinese in the Hawkesbury area.

We ordered a couple of Pad Thai take-aways, and we happy enough to return the next night for another order. Service was quick and friendly, food was tasty, and pricing fair. Nice vibe if you wanted to eat in, but we headed down to the nearby river lookout. Would buy from here again.

We stopped in for a mid morning meal and were very impressed with the quality of the pies and sandwiches. The service was friendly and prompt.
There were some beautiful mousse cakes and Christmas items. Had we not been in transit I would have been purchasing a lot! A great bakery.
