Your typical pub grub. Well, I went for the Sunday roast which was lamb. All that came on the plate was only this pile of beautifully tender lamb. The salad/vegetable bar only provided these small side plates, but I must say there was a great choice of both hot and cold to accompany the meat.

If you're looking for something other than take-away you've found it. There is some delicious food to be had at The Watersedge Restaurant. The staff are attentive but not overly intrusive, they will see if a glass needs to be refilled before you do. Food is top notch, not dissimilar to something that you would expect to be served in any city restaurant. Although on our visits it was a little pricey I think it was worth paying for a fine dining experience in outback South Australia.

Whether taking out or eating in, the food here is consistently delicious, and perfectly cooked with fair and healthy portions, and fresh, quality ingredients! Staff are friendly and accomodating. We eat here (in restaurant) once a week, and have never had a bad dish yet. As far as favourites, try the garlic fish, squid, honey lemon chicken, chicken and cashews, Mongolian lamb, fried rice, Singapore noodles; fried fish, to name a few. Whatever you order you can't go wrong or they will, we are certain make it right. The restaurant consistently lives up to our expectations.

Bottle & Bird is one of a kind!! It is a takeaway food shop attached to the Westland Hotel Motel bottle shop. It offers a quick and convenient drive through service of all sorts of takeaway foods including Hot BBQ Chickens, Chips, Burgers, Seafood and much more. Winner of the best Burger in town.
We ate here for dinner while staying at the Westlands Motel. The prices are reasonable for your average Take-away shop and the food tasted good and fresh. Schnitzel Burger was about $10.
Because this place is linked in with the Westland Hotel they allowed us to eat the food in the front bar where we could enjoy a drink with our food.

Hands down the flavour pops at Tandoori Guru located on Essington Lewis in Whyalla, near Foodland. Spacious, airy, super clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. This family run restaurant also boasts a busy take away service.
If you see a lineup, don't fret, you will soon be seated or served. The butter chicken is excellent, korma, seafood, beef and chicken dishes; and breads exquisite.

This cafe is a busy place so you may have to wait a little while for your meal but it'll be worth it. I usually get the big breakfast.....bacon, THREE eggs, mushrooms, tomato and gluten free toast. It'll cost around $18 with a piping hot cappuccino. Highly recommended.....
