Enjoyed our meal here. Rogan josh was good, not too spicy and the Keema naan was tasty. Could have done with a bit more rice than we got but it was ok. Reasonably priced.

It was cold outside so when entering this café it was great to be welcomed by the warmth. We sat in a bright green alcove which was comfortable and felt like something out of the 1970's. The coffee was fine cake was good, although not a lot of variety in the cabinet. It was clean and a good way to shelter from the weather and relax.

This was a convenient stopover establishment for a late lunch and early afternoon coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the gourmet heated cabinet was well presented (one day I will return to accept the challenge of the gourmet sausage roll) but on this occasion I had the mushroom tartlet. It was well heated and the pastry was rather good. The mushroom filling smelt and tasted of mushrooms and I was very pleased with this choice. Unfortunately the flat white coffee was a bit of a let down. It was very milky and the taste of coffee was almost completely absent! But overall this was a good place to eat. It is comparatively small and was buzzing with customers when we arrived so they are clearly doing some things right.

What a find on Trip Advisor. This place had 8 reviews of excellent so stopped for a meal on the way from Palmerston North to Napier. Food was great and super value. Fined with hubbie and we had the antipasto platter, chicken and chorizo pasta and moussaka. All very good. Especially recommend the platter. Venue is freshly refurbished too. Great for couples, families and groups too! Outdoor area for the children to play too.

We had to clear a spot on a table, so did others that came to sit down, as the place cleared out the tables remained cluttered with dishes, the staff kept walking past them at every opportunity. A tray would be handy so you could come to the table and clear away all of the dishes at once instead of making countless trips.

We went in to try the award winning pies, and a coffee. Service was good, and the staff were pleasant. The coffee was also good. I had the lamb and mint pie, and my wife had the mince. The pastry was nice and crisp. The lamb pie was great, but the mince pie was rather bland. Both were full of meat however.
