Vyborg is a small, picturesque resort town a short train ride away from St. Petersburg. Medieval fortifications rise above the small peninsula on which the town is set, and the whole place can be seen by foot in a few hours. The highlight is Vyborg Castle, originally built by the Swedish, then captured and recaptured by the Russians and the Finnish. It has a great view of the town.

I've been there once with friends for the breakfast. The host was nice and friendly. I liked how the place is decorated. But I liked the food more) We ordered eggs, pancakes and dumplins. All were good, and servings were sufficient! I would recomend this place definitely;-)

We stayed overnight in Letuchaya Mysh hotel in February 2018. The room was on the third floor, small and clean, renovated lately. Bathroom very tiny. Breakfast was good. Location good in the center of the town.

Comfortable restaurant room with bas-reliefs of the old Vyborg. European cuisine. Very tasty. "Live" music. Performances of dancers. Karaoke. The courteous staff will answer any of your questions. Medved is located on the street coming from the castle to the marketplace, just a block or two from the castle. The menu offers a variety of food, mainly game, that even includes bear. There are also desserts and drinks. The restaurant takes cards, too!
Laadukas ravintola Torkkelinkadulla korttelin parin verran Torkkelin patsaalta - ruoka on hyvää, kielitaitoa on, ja kortti kelpaa. Ruokana tarjoillaan mm. kania, karhua ja kalaa - varsinkin ravintolan oma salaatti on maistamisen arvoinen. Tänne ehtii vaikka kahville risteilylaivalta!

The restaurant is nicely decorated, stylish, and a bit in Kamelot theme. The food list is long and creative, the wine list lags in this respect. It would deserve more different (Russian ?) Wines. The service is sweet and attentivw, but a short course of English would be Nice.
For the rest, all positive. Great food, great value, Nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommended.

We stopped in for dinner and had a good experience. The beer selection was good and it was nice and cold. The food was very tasty although it was delivered over a wide range of time. The service was functional although not the friendliest. But I must say that's typical for Russia

I ordered the bear and it was really dry and the berries were still frozen. Service was also poor. My wiife ordered the fillet and it was also bad. I would not recommend this place!

We had lunch with my friend in Cafe Krepostnaya 5. The restaurant is small and cozy. The waiter seems to be busy but she was quite friendly. We even got the menu in Finnish. I am sure they have English menu too. We ordered soup for the starter and for the main course creamy mushrooms in a pot. I found both dishes delicious, but my friend did not like them so much. The restaurant seems to be very popular. I would go again for sure if I am in Vyborg.

We bought this special Krendel cookie. And it is GOOD!!! The place is vey small though so it was a bit too crowded for me. But service and atmosphere were very good.

Visited this place with my girlfriend and we both liked the place. Food was good but if you are really hungry main dish can be little bit small. Cheepish food but not English menu.
