I was here for business the other week and we were with a large group. Other than the beautiful location next to the canal, it is easy to find, there is more than enough parking space and ding areas are very nostalgic. Other than that, friendly staff that know all about the menu and the food itself is just great. I dont know how many stars this restaurant has but it should be at least 4. Good sized portions, nothing is overdone (as in oily, salty or extreme flavors) so i was severely impressed.

This restaurant is ideally located, has friendly staff and the food is good. This deserves a better score than 'average', but... management has introduced a new policy where main dishes that come with a complimentary salad or french fries, suddenly are charged a supplement of EUR 2,50 if your dining partner chooses a different option (salad or fries). This is not clear from their menu and was not mentioned in the ordering process. This practice is intransparant and doesn't really fit the ambiance of Restaurant OpBuuren. To the management we would say: reconsider this policy and/or the unclarity of it on your menu. In any case never charge an amount that isn't listed on your menu anywhere. At the end customers leave your restaurant with a bad taste in their mouths. Or do you want to incourage people to ask for separate checks?

Went for dinner as I've read some decent reviews and I've been really hanging out for some decent Chinese grub. This place does what they call Chinese Tapas, which is just little portions. So a 5 course meal isn't as decadent as it sounds, plus you can sample a bunch of different things.
So my wife and I both chose a bunch of things (taste is naturally a matter of opinion, I normally go for the spiciest stuff, my wife less so) and all in all, quite nice. It's a very good version of localised Chinese food.
Service was fast and friendly, place was cozy, we'll probably go back.

Some dishes are presented in a non-traditional Greek way.
Quantities are right (never too much) and quality is definitely above the usual Greek restaurants, here you can taste fresh food and great combination of flavors, a bit of nouvelle cuisine sticking to the Mediterranean style.
The location is right in the center of a village (Maarssen), next to the canal.
Inside, there are not too many tables, which will allow you to enjoy dinner in a pleasant and clean restaurant.
Service is very kind and efficient.

We went there for a family dinner in the early summer evening. This is a very beautiful touristic spot where all day long people of the region will pass by to have their coffee and tea with pastry. We had a dinner there we were no impressed by the dishes. My wife had fish which was cold and still undone. I had the porc, "Procureur", which was OK but rather greasy, and covered in instant powder made sauce. We had the obligatory French Fries to go with this and ended up with a bill that was Ok but considering the quality, was overrated.

Authentic italian food and service. The spaghetti Vongole tasty, risotto Milanese made well and the Panzerotti very good. Service good, quick and attentive. Table close to door spoiled the fun for a few minutes as winter temp. was allowed in. Suggestion to already good staff; take even more time to explain food presented. In short; please visit as we will for sure again.

This is a pleasant and cosy restaurant in an old farmhouse. Comfortable and quiet. There is a nice Terrace outside. We had the 4-course surprise menu. Really excellent dishes with surprisingly original tastes. Also excellent vergetarian options. We were very well looked after. When one of us opted out of the desert the waiter reduced the price without us mentioning this. Very nice.

We were there for my birthday and it was fantastic. Nice food, nice employees. Even the "chef" came to us to explain the meal. He also, because my baby was crying, offered to hurry the dishes so we can leave earlier. The price was higher than normal restaurant but still....

Brasserie de Brouwerij is a contemporary restaurant set in a beautiful monumental building with a sunny Terrace in the old centre of the village Vleuten (Leidsche Rijn). Ideal for your breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, meetings and receptions. We can also organize your perfect (birthday)party, reunion, dinners for groups, workshops etcetera. We are looking forward to welcome you as our guest in Vleuten!
We used to come here often until they changed the menu into some sort of a strange mini-portions that you could also order in full size - felt very confusing and the quality of the food dropped dramatically. Not visiting anymore. Too bad, though! They used to be great.

We were looking for a nice place to have dinner together, our daughter, who recently moved to Vleuten, suggested this place she hadn't experienced before.
We booked a table for the evening and had a very nice dinner together. The menu featured a tasty lamb stew which I had, many grill platters, salads, also the usual dolmades, gyros, souvlaki, mousaka. The food was well prepared, tasty, the people friendly, although it was very busy at that time (Saturday night), recommended!
