A very fine restaurant in rue Xavier Brasseur in Esch, delicious menus, also for receptions, for special moments and dinner; elegant atmosphere, friendly service.

I went for a romantic dinner celebration with my boyfriend to this restaurant. There are only a few tables so you need to have a reservation. The food was acceptable, small portions, but I guess that's normal for a so called "gastronomic restaurant ". The bill was the opposite proportion with the quantity of the food: overpriced. I was sick all night afterwards so the celebration was ruined. Never returned back.

Expectations are always high when visiting Michelin starred restaurants and overall this did not disappoint. We were celebrating a birthday and they made a special effort to bring chocolate cake with a candle instead of the desert on the tasting menu. Hors d’oeuvres were most disappointing part. Duck, langoustine and pork were all delightful. Wine paring subtle.
Areas for improvement glasses were whisked away before they had been finished, level or service wasn’t impeccable (spilt wine; wrong water brought, waiting for explanation of dishes) and uniforms of the staff were tired/didn’t fit.
In summary what comes out of the kitchen is beautiful and maybe it was just the temporary surroundings that let it down.

The place is well located in the center. But finding a parking spot is challenging. You can easily park in the side streets or some meters from the restaurant, but girls in heels and parents with small children might find it difficult. The environment is cozy and comfortable, though small. The food is fresh, they serve a great variety of sushis on the buffet and several other things among dumpling, duck and crab. I also saw other people ordering big trays with a big variation as well. Everything is fresh and delicious. What mostly caught my attention were the waiters and the manager. They are all absurdly friendly and nice. Always smiling and making jokes just to make you welcome. They also bring some treats to customers' table so you can taste different things. The price is very cheap, specially for the all-you-can-eat, so I strongly recommend that you visit. The place is great for couples, small groups of friends and to dine alone.

The dream of launching a destination place for food, art and fashion has been realized with Smets, the Two6Two and Chef Julien Elles' team. Quality products, a light and fresh cuisine evolving along the seasons and upon the Chef's inspiration are the key ingredients to the Two6Two's distinctive style. A promise of imaginative, bold and delicious food in a muted and design atmosphere. The magic and enchanting view is the final touch to trigger all emotions in one exceptional setting. A culinary revelation, recognized by the Michelin Guide and the Gault Millau 2016, with 15/20 and a second 'toque'.
...fantastic view. Two big glass windows give the room a spectacular view. The food is great. The absolute winner is their green tomato gazpacho which is heavenly! The wines and the service are fantastic.
If you twist my arm I'dd tell you some courses could use a bit more seasoning and a customer who wished to sit next to the window for the view, also shut the window and then it became a bit warm in the restaurant (or it was because of my lively company ;-) )

We came here for a dinner on a Friday night. We received a very warm welcome and were served very attentively throughout the whole evening. The food we had was delicious (chateaubriand for two people very recommended!) and quantities were generous! We will be back!

Over the years this has remained something of a highlight in the area. The service can be a little cold, depending who in on the table but this is not a reflection of the quality of the service, it's just the manner.
The menu includes a seasonal, bistrot and a la carte which they are always happy for you to taste in. Shared starters, two mains - whatever your appetite is ready for.
Food is fun, beautifully (if not sometimes a little far fetched) presentation. The meats are of an excellent quality and it has to be said that the desserts are a lovely finish to your meal.
There are different Seating areas and all create their own little atmosphere - cosy, intimate or part of the main room. The decoration is great and manages to keep the tradition of the bistrot but modernise it into something quite fun.
All in all I really love this place and to be honest remains one of the only choices in the
area - worth the drive but you should ALWAYS book!!
Recommended over and over.

We arrived around 6:10 on a Wednesday night with no reservation. The restaurant filled up fast and by 7pm they were turning away people that did not have a reservation. Nice decor, Indian music playing in the background. We were given free pompadoms and chutneys. We started with the vegetable samosas and the cheese naan. The samosas were average and my wife didn't care for the cheese naan but I thought it was alright. I ordered the chicken Madras which had a great flavor and the chicken was very fresh. My wife ordered the paneer saag and asked for it to be extra spicy and it was. They had Cobra beers on offer and they were cold and delicious. By 7:15 the place was packed and there were two servers and without my knowing, when we first arrived, and again without a reservation, my wife had slipped the server a candle and told him it was my birthday and told him to slip the candle in one of the dishes we ordered. When it didn't happen my wife had assumed he had forgotten because the restaurant had become so busy. When we finished our meals I asked for the check and was waiting to pay and leave. When all of a sudden the waiter showed up at the table with Ice cream, fruit and wafers with the candle lit singing Happy birthday to me. Needless to say we were both speechless. To the young man at the New Delhi restaurant, thank you for making my birthday/holiday special. We highly recommend.

We decided to give Athena a try on a Friday evening. We made Reservations ahead of time. Once we arrived, we were seated quickly. The restaurant is large by Luxembourg standards. The wait staff spoke adequate English (which is good since my French is poor, and I speak no other language). We ordered a hot appetiser plate. It was good. My husband ordered a lamb dish, my son ordered a kebab plate, and I ordered a chicken dish. All were good. They came with salad which I would say was my least favourite part of the meal. The dressing was heavy and too much for the amount of salad on the plate. It didn't taste house made either. All in all, the meal was good, but I am not sure we will be back.

Went there with family. Enjoyed the food overall though it was nothing spectacular and many dishes had mushrooms in them, which I don't like. A la carte is expensive and the good value menu is not flexible if an option is not to one's liking. Enjoyed the calm and would go back.
