Restaurant in Quarteira, in the old Town near the Church, since it’s opening in May 83, Restaurant “O Arco” has always been true and innovative with regards to the quality served. We created our recipes from Starters, Fish and Meat courses to our Desserts.
Got a warm welcome from owner. The Resturant is fairly small but intimate and spotlace clean. The staff are very friendly and polite. The menu is small but specials are also available. Our order was taken and suggestions on the selection of wine was given by the owner, I was going to order a more expensive bottle of white Wine and I was offered another that was cheaper the owner stating that the one I chose was overrated and he had it available, but the cheaper one was far superior and I was not disappointed it was excellent shows how much I know about wine. I had goat cheese and tomato for starter and main course was Fresh Sole my wife had it stuffed with spinach and mine was Sole meunière both excellent both with selection of vegetables. There was a good selection of desert but could not eat anymore. Without doubt the whole experience was superb. Not easy to find but one to visit any taxi will take you.

CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS UNTIL JANUARY THE 15th 2018
This Italian is located upstairs one street back from the Marina in Vilamoura but it’s definitely worth tracking down. We hadn’t booked but they kindly fitted us in even though they were full later in the evening. The staff are friendly and you soon feel at home. Prices are good and service was efficient. The minestrone soup was excellent- I always take this as a measure of an Italian. The mains were great with pasta, pizza or meats and fish to choose from. The tiramisu was a lovely way to finish the meal - light as a feather.

A real gem. Father and son run and it is where all the British Ex-Pats eat as excellent value for money.
Went here on recommendation from a fellow holiday maker. x2 bread couvert were bland and stale. I had the prawn garlic starter and I have tasted better rubber, obviously frozen. I ordered the "portuguese steak" which was basically a very thin piece of minute steak, folded over to make it look like the real steak it should be, tough as leather. It cam in a whole plate of bubbling gravy fresh from the microwave. Wife ordered the swordfish with fresh veg. Both meals came at the same time but my wifes whole meal was stone cold. Sent it back and it came back a full 10 minutes later, but the same piece of fish!!! Sent both mains back and asked for the bill £30 for a very dissapointing experience. Waiter tried to make ammends with a free drink but I am sorry the damage was done. Fantastic little cafe next door though. I cannot believe the good reviews, either these people have never had a decent meal or live on warm up ready meals

We have been meaning to come for a while, having read the reviews, and took a group of friends on Saturday. All of us loved it, hidden down a side street, and cozy, with delightful service. Small menu but everything we had was delicious. lovely complimentary starters and desserts, and the main courses were excellent. Jazz music, quirky decor, great wine even though only a choice of one, but it was excellent. Will definitely be back.

It was very quiet in Vilamoura in all restaurants. We had to try this one after Reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. It was excellent food and very good service. My wife had onions bajjis and chicken tikka masala. I had a mixed tikka meats and lamb rogan josh. All were very tasty and beautifully presented. It lived up to its ratings. Even the complimentary drinks were special. I would recommend this restaurant to all who enjoy good food.

Cafe Del Arte is a bit diferente then other bars & restaurants in the area, The setting is special as your dinning or relaxing under mature vine trees with relaxing non comercial music, our menu varies time to time and is not large but all we prepare is home made and we use a lot fresh herbs and spieces, we always can make some vegetarian dishes as well, Our tapas can be a nice starter or just a snack with your glass of wine, We sell small handicrafts, art pieces and paintings from local artist, and orginize various theme nights throughout the summer period, For now every Wendsday we have a BBQ with live entertainment. We are open during the day for lunch or afternoon drinks as well and for dinner Reservations is highly recomended.
We are staying at the hilton and were looking for somewhere different to eat. This place is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Great mixed starter . Big enough for 2. Very nice mains and pudding . I would recommend the house read wine .
All in all great local place made all the better with the good service.

Lovely food again here, had the garlic mushrooms and honey goats cheese to start and the fillet rafael style and fillet kebab. Nice to see it's the same chef and food is consistent but always seems to be different waiting staff. We'll be back again.
