Stroll on foot through the narrow, steep streets of the charming Old Town, once home to 25 churches. Now only two remain, including the Romanesque Viborg Dom Kirke Cathedral. It offers a fascinating crypt and distinctive twin towers. Pine forests and hilly farmland hem the appealing town on two sides, while oak forests grow and the romantic Hald So Lake laps to the south side of town. The hamlet of Hjarbaek, home to a flotilla of brown-sailed skiffs, sits on a picturesque fjord to the north.

The staff are very friendly and attentive and the restaurant itself has a welcoming atmosphere. The antipasti selection is wonderful but is let down by the very average pizza and pasta dishes. Parking can be a bit of a problem.

I spent two wonderful nights in Niels Bugges Kro. Absolutely everything was perfect! The food was splendid, the rooms were lovely, and the staff were kind and helpful! The artwork is especially interesting as the Niels Bugges Kro hosts an annual comic competition. The staff gave us directions to a nearby lake where we could swim. We were also directed to Dollerup Bakker where we were able to pet the most gentle and sweet wild horses.

What a treat! Found this place by coincidence and wow. The menu had some exciting choices and the chef came out and told us about them. Food was amazing. If they still have the same chef don't miss out on this place.

We had a 3 course meal, the standard offering. A great choice. First a Carpaccio of Wagyu-beef - it was magnificent! The main was a steak, perfectly cooked, red as ordered. Lacking a little more sauce, but all over a very good dish. A bavaroise with ice-cream and sorbet. That was ok, but not more than average and a little old fashioned. We had the only spanish wine on the menu - very nice and cheap. Over all a very nice meal, only let down by a slightly unfriendly service t the table.

Really worth taking the car out to this overlooked part of the Limfjord area. The small old fishing village of Lundø has a really quaint atmosphere with lots of beautiful half-timbered houses, a nice medieval church, vintage cars!, fantastic walks along the beach out to the very end of the point - a very long and thin sand-bar - that gives the impression of walking on water - in the middle of the fjord. But the real gem is Savillas!
This is the place for a brunch, pit-stop, romantic lunch. Whatever story you have to make up - to convince your travel-mates to come here. Do it now! This is genuine lovingly and hand-made food, good value, great taste and service - plus very nice and relaxing surroundings and a shop full of all sorts of temptation.

One of the true landmarks in Viborg. This unique Dining experience has existed since 1954. It is a stake house in historic surroundings, with good food. Lunch and dinner is served, and after dinner, you can stay for drinks, and dancing on Friday and Saturday nights.
Visited for the second time with work colleagues. Service was quick and very friendly. Food was all excellent and didn't hear anyone of the 12 people who were there having anything other than praise for the whole experience

I have searched widely for good chips in Denmark. The chips here were THE BEST! I had fish and chips and really enjoyed it. And the avocado laden salad was a great refresher on the plate. I also tried the homemade lemonade made from limes and ginger - delicious! The waiter was fabulous - friendly, welcoming and effective - really a great addition to the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of the cafe. Lovely decor too - very nice open view out across the square. When in Viborg looking for a relaxed and yummy lunch - this is a must.

I travelled halfway around the world but never found meat like in this. Fantastic. Since 20 years, I come to this restaurant and has never betrayed me. The best you can eat meat in DK. I suggest the steak grilled served with fried potatoes. Great service and very flexible hours. Close late. A little expensive but go there. very typical environment. Pretty

We stopped by to eat some dinner and the staff was really friendly. The place didn't have their menu in English, but the waiter translated it for us with no problem. The main course; a calf meat dish we ordered was delicious. The place is cozy, altough the heating was bit too strong. Altogether, a great place to visit!

Cafe Baghuset opened in 2009, and often you hear "Let's meet at the Cafe Baghuset." Our cafe is cozy and relaxed, and you can enjoy our lovely food and hot and cold drinks. Our philosophy is to do as much of the food from the basic and use as many danich ingredients as possible, which hopefully should give our guests a good and pleasant food experience. The team behind Cafe Baghuset is a dynamic, energetic and fresh unit that would like to do our best for our guests and provide a good experience in the coffee shop. On Thursday and Friday we are also open in the evenings, where you can enjoy a la carte, 2-3 course meals and our classic cafe dishes. Welcome and enjoy.<br>Closed on sundays and public holidays.
Super service, tasty brunch in friendly settings. Choose from three different brunch plates. Try the smoothies and fresh juices too.
