Dined there for a friends birthday, based on other positive reviews. Friendly staff, cosy restaurant and excellent food. However note you need transport to get their from Crans. Well worth the trip.

With its beautiful Valais traditional decor, Le Chateau de Villa is where the finest local terroir specialties are served. Cheese dishes are at the centre of these, such as our famous cheese raclette made from raw milk from 5 pastures, our fondue and dried meats from our own pigs raised in Alpine pastures, as well as other cured specialties. Our head chef also offers you a menu featuring seasonal specialties from fresh products that are flavourful and from but also typical for the region. The Wine Bar: Some 650 wines and the talents of more than 110 wine producers are featured at the exceptional "oenotheque". It offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the nearly exhaustive collection of Valais terroir wines. Visitors can taste different wines each week, by the glass, and can buy bottles of all the wines that are presented.
We had planned to go to another place that ended up being full, so Chateau de Villa was a back up plan, and an excellent surprise. Very nice outside and inside sitting, with a quite, green surrounding, very tasty fondue and raclette (especially fondue!) it's the swiss experience in a nice sort of quiet way. The wine menu is incredible (600+ kinds), the service is caring and super friendly and it makes for a nice moment with friends. Would definitely recommend!

We were on an organized tour where the food selections were good to pretty good. This restaurant was a nice change and we wish we could have come for a second sitting. The flavors and presentation were superb, and if I could only remember all the details. Suffice to say that if you are within 30 km of this town you must stop in.

If you enjoy a gastronomic restaurant, you can try the Relais Miégeois. From Sierre, Miège is 5 minutes away with a car.
This restaurant is a little less formal than a "regular" gastro restaurant, but the quality of the food and the service really deserve a 5

this is the restaurant that is in the hotel LeCrans Hotel & Spa. We would like to be able to review the restaurant separately from the hotel, especially as we believe that it is one of the best restaurants in the region
We arrived on a rainy evening, the clouds were gathering, but we still had a wonderful view. I'm not sure how to describe the food, but each dish was just so tasty. The presentation was artistic, and not overdone. I had the egg, sounds simple, but was anything but.
My companions each had the fish. Have I mentioned that everything was so good? Service was professional and attentive. Had the snicker desert. Wow!

I have been here quite a few times. The decor was always a bit poor and cafe like but wow this time they have had a total overhaul. The decor is now very modern and tasteful. We believe the chef has taken over it. The food is absolutely top notch, I had asparagus starter followed by steak and chips. Please visit if you are in the area as it is the best restaurant and also very reasonably priced and now super since they have done the decor :)

Someone recommended this place for their wood-fired pizzas so we went and ordered three of them, all rather bland (both the dough and the toppings), nothing really amiss but nothing exciting either, your typical Swiss pizza joint.
Service was very nice and accommodating (Capri is a popular place for Sunday lunch), all in all, with a different expectation level, this would have been a perfectly suitable pizza lunch).

Michael Angelo was a long pending restaurant on my list in Crans Montana & was worth the visit & completed my to do list. The Minestrone soup, the spaghetti in Arabiata sauce & Pesto pizzas were nice. Remember, here in Switzerland you need to ask for thin & crisp pizzas if you need them.

This place is a hotel as well as a restaurant with two dining rooms ("salle" and "bistrot").
It services the mandatory Swiss specialities such as cheese fondu and raclette, but also has more than 10 different pizzas on the menu.
We chose the pizzas and really liked them
Clearly this is not a highbrow restaurant, and the service was rather lacklustre (with one waiter for a full room on Saturday evening).
But if you're hungry after a day in the Mountains we can recommend to have your meal here.
