Next to the hotel of the same name
This might be the best restaurant in Velingrad, but compared to other restaurants of its rating it is mostly average. We visited with family, ordered appetizers, main courses and desserts- the food was good but nothing extraordinary really. I think it is even overpriced. Service was not the best either.

Paradise offers generous portions of the typical Bulgarian fare. All the meals we tried were pleasantly arranged and tasted great. Service staff was switched on, never had to wait for orders to be taken. The atmosphere is "modern Bulgarian", outside Seating is available. Good place in this laid-back spa city.

This is my third restaurant in Velingrad and so far it is the best one in sense of food quality, region identity, value and wine policy. Very tasty Rodopsku sarmi with whole meat, not grinded, fresh trout, rich bean soup, excellent Sneakers Chocolate cake and even the French fries are from real potatoes. The waiter was very honest, service was fast and competent.

This is probably the largest restaurant in the area - it can accommodate 800 people.
It is decorated in old Bulgarian (traditional) style, and so the food is traditional Bulgarian one.
The salads were huge. Each dish was extremely delicious.
The service was friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant - excellent option for lunch or dinner.

Nice atmosphere, traditionally looking place. They were playing Greek music non-stop. Menu is in Bulgarian and English. Most of the plates that we asked for were not available. The waiter said that this happened because there was a wedding there previously, but this should not be an excuse. Apart from this, the plates were very good, portions big, prices average. Very clean place, fast service, friendly staff. I don't know how often they host weddings there, but it is a recommended one for sure!

We ate here in the heart of June. When it was hot but not too hot. We dined outside smokjng cigars and enjoying the local beer before food. I had a local with me so everything went very smooth. If you have to rely on English, might be more difficult. Either way, the food will be amazing. Just amazing. So good I came here for lunch and dinner. Prices were Great, service was good, at night they have a singer, singing songs on request, sometimes people dance. Overall an excellent restaurant. It's worth going out of your way to eat here.

We were a bit suspiciouse after placing our order because the prices were so low. However, the food and the wine were no worse than anywhere else. Very close to the train station which makes it convenient if you miss your train. Would visit again.

On our first day in Velingrad we discovered this place to eat at. Had a great pizza and garlic bread. Had to return the next day to try more of the great dishes. There was a combination of pizzas and traditional Bulgarian dishes to choose from. The waiting staff on both day were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Well worth a visit. Family run.
