Tongyeong (Korean pronunciation: [tʰoŋ.jʌŋ]) is a coastal city in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. In 2010, it had an area of 238.81 km and a population of 139,869 people. It is divided into 1 eup (town), 6 myeon (township) and 11 dong (neighborhood). Chungmu city and Tongyeong county were reunited in 1995, creating Tongyeong City as it is known today. It consists of Goseong Peninsula, Hansan Island, Mireuk Island and other islets. It was formerly known as Chungmu, after the posthumous name of Admiral Yi Sun-sin. The name Tongyeong means "command post" and is itself associated with Admiral Yi, as it refers to his principal base that was located on nearby Hansan Island.

고추장 양념이 안 들어간 멍게비빔밥은 처음 먹어봤는데 쌉싸름하면서 달큰한 멍게맛이 살아나는 것이 정말 맛있었어요.회정식도 먹었는데 세 종류의 회를 섞어서 먹을 수 있는것이 좋았네요

통영 중앙시장에 있는 식당으로 친구네와 함께 갔는데 성게비빔밥과 멍게비빔밥, 졸복을 먹었습니다. 모든 음식이 제 입맛에는 맞아서 만족했습니다. 가게는 조금 좁고 손님이 많아서 북적거리지만 아마도 가족인 듯한데 종업원들도 무척 친절합니다. 통영을 간다면 무조건 한 끼는 여기서 먹겠습니다.

A super friendly local uncle brought us there! Place is crowded with locals and those from other provinces queuing up to try this yummy breakfast. Located in the wet market, this shop was small but brimming with people. You are first served with a hot veggie soup and a big bowl of rice. Next, you can scoop whichever portions of pickled kimchi or ingredients in front of you - Buffet style!! Price is not expensive and will definitely leave you fully satisfied!

점심으로 먹었는데 양념으로 무쳐진 오징어가 맛있더라구요~ 엄~청 맛있지는 않지만 점심 간단하게 드시기 좋아요. 짜지도 싱겁지도 않았어요

Trattoria dell´Arte is a gem in Tongyeong- a city that has almost no western restaurant. Interior and atmosphere is unique, staff very friendly and the kitchen offering excellent, down-to earth Italian trattoria dishes. Beautiful thin crust pizza and hand-made pastas not to be missed!

time to brush up on your korean. pretty easy to locate, just off the main road facing the port. just ask around if you do get lost.
had the oyster set meal A [ i believe ], was about SGD32 per pax.
very very fresh and definately worth a return visit.

충무김밥을 판매하는 곳이 여러곳이있는데, 그중에서도 한일김밥집 충무김밥을 아주 좋아합니다. 음식도 정갈하게 준비해 주시고 맛 또한 훌륭합니다.

카페 너무 기억에 많이 남아요~
입구에 이티그림그려진 건물2층이에요.
장소가 좁다고 명단에 이름 쓰고 대기하래요..
ㅎㅎㅎ 배짱장사다 생각했어요.. 시간없으면 오지말라는둥.. 단체오지말라는둥 ㅎㅎㅎ
그런데.. 요기가 유명한건 쌍욕라떼라는 메뉴가 너무 웃겨요~
사장님이 라떼에 그림이나 쌍욕을 그려주시는 거에요.
그런게 주문절차가 있어요..ㅎ
이름 성별 나이 지역? 특징을 적어서 직접가서 주문해요~
그리고 카운터에 서서 직접 대화를 합니다.ㅎㅎㅎ
저의 특징을 사려서 욕을 해주시려고 대화를 하나봐요..
라떼 위에다가 다이어트 실패한년이라 적어주셨어요 ㅎ

바다 바로옆에 위치해있어 전망이 아주 좋습니다.
캠핑장에 온것같은 탁자,의자에 앉아서 조개구이를 구워먹으니 아주 맛있고 좋았습니다.
