Beautiful fish restaurant, with brilliant service, great wine list, exquisite food both antipasta and any choice of secondi.
This time we had a whole roast monkfish to share, a bottle of prosecco, and hot antipasta which was about 5 courses from lemon sole to amazing languistine. Great value for two at 80 euro compared to 90 euro for two at Antico Cantonino just next door. Both high end prices fro Abruzzo but this restaurant really is high end.
One caution, know a little Italian! No written menus and the waiters don't speak English. But you do get to visually choose your fish!

I've been waiting to try this restaurant, never finding it open and of course it closed for ferrie. So, we finally got to visit on Thursday this week. It was quite busy which is always a good sign.
We were seated in the furthest corner next to the storage area, but to be honest this was okay as the restaurant isn't big, so it still felt part of the main area. A very large table was set and shortly after we arrived a family did too, now the restaurant was full. A good atmosphere was created so all rather pleasant. The front of the restaurant had the obligatory TV playing so we were pleased we were at the back.
Our order was taken quickly and helpfully, no English but we managed with my little Italian. Food arrived quickly too and was really rather good. The starters were large portions, (a cold meat plate and mozzarella bruschetta, which was four pieces of tomato bruschetta and whole mozzarella - quite large!) and then we had a pizza each which were both very good. To be honest a little too much food!! I know that sounds crazy but the starters were larger then most restaurants we've tried, one between two would have been enough.
Service from the two waitresses overall was just okay. They forgot glasses for the water, we had to ask for oil and pepper, this wasn't offered for the starter or main. Luigi did bring out our pizza, as he does for everyone and he offered chilli oil, and then checked we had enjoyed it.
Overall it was a very good pizzeria, and I will return but in my opinion this shouldn't give it the No1 spot of all restaurants in Teramo. That accolade belongs to La Granseola.

This is a wonderful little secret with sensational food. We came here because of the reviews on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. The pasta was homemade and wonderful. I could see the wife through the kitchen window....rolling the pasta and making it right there. The place was packed with locals. I would definitely recommend splitting a pasta between two people as the servicing as huge. In many occasions large portions do not equal great food but in this case...this restaurant equals exceptional food and large portions. The pricing is amazing and you can tell that tourists have not found this little treasure yet. Make sure you reserve a space. It opens at 8pm until late. Ricotta on the pasta is stunning. The owner was so warm and tried hard to make us feel very welcome....you would have to go a long way to find a better little trattoria

We've dined here three times over the last few weeks. Each time a week day evening, which is never very busy unless you're in O'Sarrancino! But they manage to tick over a steady stream of customers.
However, each evening we have had impeccable service, delicious food, great house wine and all at very good value.
The last time we dined was 1st May and we were treated to Virtu! It was served as a prima piatto in a four course meal with house wine, water, coffee and digestive, all for 27 euros per person.
My husband's favourite is the lamb chops - I've tried something different each time, and have never yet been disappointed.
I'd recommend to anyone for a delicious Italian meal, and I'll try myself on a Saturday evening. I'm hoping it's busier for the sake of the owner, they deserve to be.
The surroundings are great, vaulted ceilings, god acoustics, appropriate music.
Definitely worth visiting.

Don Miguel is a typical Italian pizzeria. Our pizzas are naturally raised for 72 hours, made with italian flours, mozzarella di bufala DOP, fresh tomato and other high quality ingredients. Miguel Lecce is a pizza chef since 1988. His pizza is one of the best in Italy.
Local college kid hang out...exceptional value and taste for a quick slice of pizza. No one speaks English but that is ok as you can easily indicate how much pizza you want and they cut and weigh it there for you. Seating is a premium so enjoy when you find a seat and soak in all the young people and their excited conversation. Great value!!! I am not sure if this is open at dinner because we went there once on a Saturday night and it was closed but it is definatly open for lunch each day. Wonderful location close to the square and on one of the cute little side streets

I read about this on Trip Advisor, and thought I'd try it but it was mid week and I know it's almost always impossible to find anywhere with more than a couple of diners mid week.
This was no exception, we were one of only two tables....BUT I am so glad we tried it!
The owner / front of house guy (who's visiting London soon!) was brilliant, tried really hard to speak to us in English and we were practising our Italian. So, we weren't quite sure what we'd ordered but here's what we got:
A bean soup, that was delicious, hot and very filling! Had I known how big it was I wouldn't have then ordered:
Chitarra - thin spaghetti with ragu - really delicious, only a very small amount of meat, very traditional and again a hearty portion that was really filling.
We thought we ordered grilled veg, but got a plate of seasonal veg, kind of a ratatouille, fava beans, spinach....now we're really full!
Next time we'll order a soup and main...something traditional. can't wait to go again.
It's traditional in it's design, yes it has the obligatory TV that almost all Italian restaurants have but there are places to sit that mean you can avoid it.
The service as I said was exceptional, and the house wine was pretty good too. We had 1/2 litre.
All of this for around 24 Euros for 2.
For a good old traditional informal meal, at good value I think it's great.

Travelled in July 2015, with my 3 children, husband and in-laws. My in-laws had been before, and know the couple that owns this restaurant. We had an absolutely outstanding meal here!! Course, after course, after course - and all of it was amazing! the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was just what I hoped it would be, authentic, local Italian. Grazie!!
