Tacna is a city in southern Peru and the regional capital of the Tacna Region. A very commercially active city, it is located only 35 km (22 mi) north of the border with Arica y Parinacota Region from Chile, inland from the Pacific Ocean and in the valley of the Caplina River. Just a short taxi ride from the bus terminal. Open earlier than most others and the service is perfectly wonderful in this airy restaurant with classic Peruvian plates!
We shared Chicharron de Pescado, Ceviche Mixto and the Pork Ribs! Each dish was beautiful. And the serice was excellent inspite there being many hungry families in multiple dining rooms! The beer was cold, cold and the Pisco Sours were perfect accompaniment & served by the pitcher! - http://www.laglorietatacna.com/

We visited the restaurant and we were surprised for how long it took another people to process it. The attention was great, and the dishes came one after the other: amazing.

The food was very good. The meat was cooked as requested. Nonetheless, the service was extremely poor. Our waiter did not seem to comprehend his own menu. He had a habit of disappearing just when we needed him. When I paid the check I did not check it closely and food was added that we did not eat. The restaurant did correct the error but it required a return trip the following day.

Possibly the best value restaurant in Tacna. Ate there three times in one week. Not the most expensive nor fancy but it has a tremendous variety of food, all delicious. The pizzas are some of the best I have had in South America. They have created some great combinations of toppings including small pieces of steak. The chupes or fish stews/thick soups are extremely rich. Great for a cool evening. The Corvina cooked on an iron pan was perfect. My only regret was that I didn't get a chance to try any of the sandwiches which looked great. This places also serves Pilsen Callao and Cristal beers. There are tables upstairs that have a great view of the street below. Finally, the waiters were very helpful if you speak some Spanish. A bit pricey for Tacna but a bargain if you are from the US or Europe.

From 12:00pm
Located near Plaza de Armas and this place is huge and very modern.
Service was awesome and pizza tasted great!
We ordered pizza americana(medium), a bottle of cuzquena beer and a bottle of coke
and it didn't cost more than 21 soles($8 USD) in total!
It's a must-visit place when you're in Tacna!

I had the Lomo Saltado. Some of the best I have ever had. My wife had ceviche and it was very good, not excellent. The staff was EXTREMELY attentive and professional. I would strongly recommend.

You don't have to read Spanish to understand the menu. Very clean, lighter choices on menu, great for a hamburger type Sandwich. Pasta looked great, we had lamb burger and they were great. Good fruit drinks, chicha morada, great coffee and tea. Prices are reasonable. Returned for fresh salad, avacado and fresh local corn. Service slower paced, but friendly and worth the wait. Desserts are homemade and outstanding especially Tres leche cake and tocino de cielo.
