We have been visiting this nice karczma for several years now during our winter holidays. It has become our favorite place to dine in Bialka. It provided excellent food and atmospere of popular Polish karczma, let overcrowded at times. Hate to admit the overall quality of Litworowy Staw seems to decline though. The food is nice but the portions are getting smaller, the service is not so quick as before (we happened to be served by the same waiter twice this year to our regret), the total bill is higher than before. I noted that as soon as the popular food place starts to expand it looses control on the quality. I do hope that this place will stand its high standards. Can give only 4* for now, sorry.

We offer short seasonal menu. When you are ordering our dishes you can be sure that you get the best quality product and most importantly made from fresh ingredients that are delivered every day to our restaurant by local producers. We attach great importance to make our guests feel at us particularly.
My husband and I were visiting Poland and decided to take family out for dinner. There were 14 of us (3 being children). We wanted to check this restaurant out because it was featured on a tv show in Poland called Kitchen Revolution. The food...MoreThank you for the review and the good rating despite the inconvenience that you met, we have taken action to make this situation do not happen again, thank you for visiting, and hope that you still visit us. My success rate in finding good Sushi around Europe has not been great so far, and especially at places in which Europeans themselves prepare the Sushi I was nearly always disappointed. My best experiences so far were at places with large Japanese communities, such as in Dusseldorf/Germany. And there I go into this Sushi place in Nowy Targ, not a town renowned for its eloquent food choices, and e voila, there are theses Polish guys who really can make some good Sushi. Ok, I do not agree with things like cream cheese in some of the Sushi, but apart from that... really great. It is a nice smallish place, all food was nicely presented, the tea was real leaf tea not the bags that one gets all too often, the rice had good consistency and taste, and in general the Sushi was as good that I would not be able to replicate it at home. For the area the prices are not low, but it is Sushi at the end... Just one thing: Different music would be great.

The best chicken salad ever. Delightfully different. Others in our group had equally good means -- from waffles to pasta. Our server was attentive and courteous. The only unfortunate thing was we were all too full from our lunch to enjoy any of their wonderful desserts and ice cream treats!

It is a very nice place in a small town Nowy Targ. The food is good, however, we had to wait quiet long for the main dish. I ordered beef and the price was almost 30 zl but the dish wasn't too big. I mean after the Starte and the soup it was ok but if I ordered just the main dish it would be too little portion. The service was friendly. There is a big parking. I didn't like the toilets, it was a little bit too dirty.

Bialy Dunajec is the village and we were lucky to find any restaurant. The food was nice and I very much liked the decor, typical for the Zakopane area, but there was almost no choice of white wine and both bottles were very very warm, while the glasses of red came from the fridge each time. Also, my dad's starter came 10-15 minutes before the rest so we treated it as "freebie" and ate it all, and had to order and pay for another one, which also meant he was eating it on his own. Still, probably the best option in that (very) rural area.

A friendly meeting place or rest during the trip with a fast, but very good quality food: burgers with fresh beef, hot dogs with interesting extras, Belgian fries, sandwiches made on the spot, coffee with our own Lemon Blend, 100% Arabica. For children: twisted potato, a set of surprise. WiFi.
Great hot dogs and burgers, especially Italian one which is my favourite. Great place to stop on your way to Zakopane. Highly recommended. Many thanks! Hope to see you again!

This restaurant offers a la carte dishes with emphasis on Highlander Polish cuisine - we had to wait 30 minutes for our food - but it was worth the wait, the lamp shanks and the mountain goats cheese salad where amazing. There is a good menu too. Its not cheap but worth every penny
