I’ve been to many different Keg restaurants over the years and, regardless of location, they’ve never failed to deliver. For me, that’s what makes The Keg different from many other chain restaurants: the quality doesn’t seem to vary from location to location. I can order a lobster dinner in Victoria and then order the same thing in Prince George or Abbotsford and it will taste the same – as it should. One would think that ALL chain restaurants – regardless of their cuisine – would strike to do this but, in my experience, that’s simply not the case. At the “low” end of the spectrum, Boston Pizza suffers from a degree of variance from location to location; and, at the higher end, the same can also be said of a place like Earls or Milestones. Sometimes they’re just not good or, at least, not as good as they should be. But The Keg doesn’t suffer from this problem, and the Langley location is no exception to this rule.
I really like the Langley Keg location. It is modern; the staff are friendly and attentive; the food is of the quality we’ve come to expect from this chain; and it offers convenience. A bit of explication:
The exterior of this Keg is quite attractive. While the parking lot seems a bit small (given its popularity), the building boasts a clean exterior and is surrounded by beautiful hedge and trees, all of which beautifully complements the stonework of the building. This Keg also offers outside Seating which, on nice summer evenings must be a hit. The interior is equally nice and mirrors many other modern Keg locations. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy at the time of our visit, we still nonetheless felt very “cozy” while eating our meals.
The staff at this location are also excellent. When we visited, as I said, the restaurant was incredibly busy – so much so that there was even a bit of a line forming outside the door shortly after our arrival. We were told that the wait could be in excess of half an hour. That was fine with us because we weren’t in a hurry to go anywhere. While we were waiting we were served a nice mini crab and cheese crostini – was totally delicious and a welcomed “bite!” After waiting about 15 minutes, we were provided with a nice table (booth). Our server was efficient in taking our orders and the kitchen staff delivered sheer deliciousness on the plate. During the course of our dinner, the server checked on us periodically, but was never intrusive. Perfect!
Of course, we all visit The Keg for the food. Renowned for their steak and seafood, the Langley location does not renege on this promise. My partner ordered the steak and Alaskan King Crab while I ordered the glazed salmon, adding a lobster tail. My partner’s steak was cooked to perfection – juicy and tender – as was the crab. My salmon was beautifully plated and a treat for the taste buds. The Keg knows how to leave one and all happy!
Finally, I did say that this location offers convenience and, for us, that’s true. We are very much fans of the cinema and whenever we’re in the area always make it a point to visit my favourite cinema: the Colossus. The Langley Colossus cinema is virtually right across the street from this Keg and so is ideal for a pre or post movie dinner. It certainly beats going to Montana’s or Boston Pizza!
FOOD: 5/5
SERVICE: 5/5
VALUE: 5/5
RECOMMENDATION: If you’ve been to one Keg then you pretty much know what to expect: Excellent food; fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the heart of Surrey, Old Surrey Restaurant is the culinary life force of fine dining this side of the Fraser. Founded in 1975, the Old Surrey serves up fresh, inspired dishes with local ingredients including lamb and veal from the family’s Chilliwack farm.
I've been to Faux Bourgeois (will not go back), I've been to Vol au Vent (not bad), but Old Surrey Inn...is THE Best French Restaurant I've been to in BC.
I've heard great things about Crocodile...however, extremely pricey!
Old Surrey Inn is cozy, personal/intimate...great food, friendly service and I love that they do shows, preparing: Caesar salad, nitrogen Ice Cream, specialty Coffees, Chateau Briand...
I've been here with clients, friends and my better half.

This is our favorite A&W in town.
Whenever we visited the service was excellent. From people greeting you at the door to managers stopping by the table to ask how the meal is and personally delivering napkins, condiments and other extra touches there is always a personal touch that is usually missing from a fast food restaurant. We have driven past other A&W's just to eat at this one.
They often have staff in training on the tills so it can test your patience. They have good support staff checking regularly to make sure transactions are completed properly though so we didn't find it a problem in that regard.
I have to agree with others that there is a lack of parking when things are busy. That is the only real downside to the location.

Only get here about once a year but food is consistently good and dependable. Took a while for the staff to realize we were at the front counter waiting to be seated but we were there early, 4:30pm.
Portions are very generous, too much for us to eat at one sitting but the were pleased to provide take away container.
It is Langleys perennial pasta joint and one we look forward to, even if only once a year.

Visited with friend just on a whim. Portions are huge, the plater for two can easily be a plater for 3. The lamb souvlaki was amazing and definitely delicious. The service was great friendly and efficient. Food was served quickly and we did not have to wait long! Will definitely come back!

We had a large family gathering of over twenty people and Olive Garden did a fantastic job. All of the entrees /soups/ salads/desserts were very tasty. Everything was packaged for easy transporting it home! Well worth the dining experience and enjoying it at home!

We visited the Vault for the third time last night. My earlier opinions of this treasure were confirmed yet again – that it's one of the most wonderful restaurants I have ever been in. The food is perfectly prepared and consistently delicious, and the serving staff are attentive and make every effort to keep their guests happy. Yes, it's pricey, so we only go once a year, but for a special occasion, it's worth the splurge.

My friend and I had lunch at New York New York last Friday. Could be Fridays are especially busy, but judging from the food and service I'm guessing this restaurant is busy all the time. We didn't have a reservation but the hostess managed to seat us.
Food was very good - large portions too. Our server was friendly and professional.
Will definitely go back, although parking is a problem. Very busy parking lot!

Specializing in Montreal Smoked Meat (beef brisket) sandwiches as well as other sandwiches, home made soups, salads etc. We start serving Montreal Smoked Meat at 11:00 am. Reason, meat needs to steam for several hours before we serve it.
Ordinary restaurant environment but cozy and friendly. I ordered a regular size Smoked beef sandwitch. You get a choice of 2 types of mustards. Regular or Dijon. Dijon is what I prefer. It is a think it is a very thick Sandwich and 2 people can share.
When I brought it back to work, I share it with another employee and they loved it. So everytime I go there, I bring back a sandwitch for my coworker.
