Bar scene, special occasion dining, entertaining clients
We dined early, and the place got more and more crowded. I would say that a reservation is a must. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, especially on the wine side. This was the best dinner we had in Perth.
The flies gras parfait was too die for.

George's Meze is a charming Greek-Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Subiaco. It's a relaxing place with an idyllic Mediterranean garden setting. There is life bouzouki music every Thursday night and every 2.Friday night. George's Meze opens for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday. On Friday and Saturday a full menu is served all through the afternoon. The restaurant is very child friendly and is offering a tasty and healthy kids menu. It’s also a great place for functions. Please call the restaurant for more information.
We arrived early on a Sunday Lunch time Sunday 14 January, the restaurant was, preparing to open, the owner seeing we had a pushchair pointed us to an easier access to the main restaurant, which has an open area, in addition to an internal area. We were greeted by a wonderfully charming and friendly Irish Lady who not only made us all so welcome but advised the best place to sit for the baby, as it was 40 degrees C. She asked had we had their Chilli Mussels, my son and I chose the mussels, what a great choice, the ladies had mixed starters, my wife and I then had the Lamb dish, my son a lamb and chicken dish and his partner had moussaka. The baby was well catered for sharing and they provided bread for her. Being a regular traveller to the Greek Island of Crete and all the local village restaurant there. George and his staff did us proud, the food was excellent and with generous portions. The staff and chef even taking time to speak to the baby. George we will return, my son and his partner, living out there will obviously, be there before us. A big thank you to Chef, George, and all staff, for making it such a good visit. I recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Yes, that's correct. This restaurant serves vegetarian buffet where you eat as you like and pay what you like. There is no price neither a check. It's your call! I paid AUD15 for my meal. It's certainly worth the amount.

Called in for lunch, we were seated immediately and the staff were friendly during our time there. The fish for the fish and chips was white, light and tasty, the chips although plenty of them (not like a previous review) were crispy but a bit hollow like the potato was missing out of them, not so tasty. The gnocchi with mushrooms, couscous and Parmesan was very nice however it was very lacking in couscous, battled to find any. The meals were served quickly, we were surprised how quickly. Known for their garlic prawns $28 as an entree is overpriced. The restaurant could now do with a revamp.

Like many popular eateries, Galileo likes to get you in and out very quickly. If you book early, as we did, expect to be shuffled out within 2 hours. That said, it was worth it.The food was great - except the side dishes. We wanted green vegetables - do not go there. Pretty rubbish really. There is a lack of simple greenery so go for the fabulous meats and pasta.

I was taken to Chez Pierre by family and now been back a second time as it is a gem of a restaurant.
I can see why it has stood the test of time and it is obvious that most of the diners (and the place is usually full) are regular customers.
The ambiance is very welcoming with the lighting and music at just the right levels and the décor tasteful.
The service is outstanding. Friendly, polite, prompt and attentive which makes you feel right at home.
The food is the star of the show though. There is a good variety and reasonably priced for French fine dining.
But the quality and flavours are fantastic. The meats are perfectly cooked, the portions just right and the sauces are just perfect.
There really is nothing I could fault here.
Both times I have been watching the private dining room which holds about 12 to 20 people, so thinking of my next special occasion to make use of it.
I am now a big fan of Chez Pierre and hoping to make it a regular stop.

Attentive service complemented by excellent beef tataki and other Japanese fare. Perhaps not the greatest decor but warm, cosy atmosphere and could not fault the way we were welcomed, attended to and the standard of food was definitely worth a return visit. Likely to go back ,,,, yes !!!!

New burger bar
It's good to have a burger joint in your neighbourhood that actually puts together a decent burger and this place is it. I had a "Mullet" burger with a beef pattie, egg, beetroot, lettuce, and tomato which was really big and very good. I also especially liked the onion rings and the parmesan fries. Great stuff!
