A great location at the harbour and they serve very nice food. I still can taste the fishfilet with lentilcurry. This curry was really awesome; rich in taste and a perfect portion. They also have great beers and very decent wines you can drink on the outside deck.

This small Pub-cum-restuarant is a delightful old world type, with a limited menu of inexpensive meals and Drinks (3 euros for a half litre of local pilsner ) Staff were very helpful, and spoke sufficent English.

Visited in the summer of 2014. We were given the red carpet treatment. Much Stortebeker bier & kümmel was consumed while we were regaled with the history of Stralsund and this 600 year old tavern by its current owner, Hanni. Much history and many laughs.

Very nice setting with outdoor Seating with a view of the Rathaus. Indoor Seating is cosy and have a nice atmosphere. Food is well prepared and the portions are big. Perhaps a bit expensive but only a little above average from the other tourist restaurants in the area. Friendly staff.

This is an upscale restaurant in a historic hotel of the old town. They offer a lunch menu which is super in terms of quality for price. I had fresh cod fish with vegetables, a revisitation of the classical portuguese recipe, and Swedish cake; both were excellent and very fresh. Service is high standard. Don't miss it!

Very good varietyof dishes. Mostly fresh products. Good presentation of the food. Service was excellent and awake. Only one of our dishes was not that good; the fish was baked too long and the beans with it tasted somewhat reheated. Very fast servcie and charming...MoreDear Guest! Thank you for your positive comments and I am pleased that you had a good experience overall. However, I apologize for the inconveniences that you experienced during your visit. We hope to welcome you back again soon.

What could be more romantic than brick walls and beamed ceilings? In the mediaval cellar of the Scheelshof Hotel is this Pub situated. They serve food also but we just watched a football game that evening shown on 2 large tv screens with a perfect sound system and enjoyed every minute with a delicious beer in our hands in a very civilized atmosphere.

WE had a 3 courses dinner with schrimps/mango, tenderloin steak and some chesse. The entree was very good and also presentated in a nice way. Although a little too much.
The main course was far too much and it filled the plates over the brim. We lost appitite, it was more suited in a canteen then in a resturant. No finess at all!
The cheese course had a very good taste with some fine marmelade taste.
Service, wines, all the rest was fine, but the cook has to learn how to present the food to their guests. Might return for a glass of wine only.

A good restaurant for a burger or local dish. Modern, good looking interior, with also a big outside Terrace of which some sections are heated. Food is above average and quantity is more than sufficient.
