I've been to Pluspunkt a couple of times and always enjoyed myself! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is always great. They use mainly products and ingredients from closeby farms and producers. Lots of local specialities!

If a restaurant is going to specialize in a particular food, it should be good at it. This place isn't. It is known for fried chicken but the chicken is so greasy and overcooked, it's disgusting. The sauces are weak and tasteless. The recipe for success here is so simple - rotisserie the chicken (like the Coop down the street!), keeping it tender and moist, then prepare three great sauces such as bleu cheese, buffalo and one other. That's it! But nothing here worked - and on top of that, the cost was unbelievable - $18US for half a chicken! Just don't go here.

Stayed for a week in October. What a beautiful country. The unit was good. Husband not too gone on it but it was exactly what we needed - a place to plant our stuff and go see Switzerland. Kitchen was great. My bedroom was huge.
Our best move was going to the tourism office the first day. We proceeded to go back there every day!!! We bought the Tell Pass which was wonderful for what we wanted to do. We did not put our hand in our pocket after that for trains or buses - - all within the central Switzerland area. We went as far as Interlaken and as far north as Zug. Our pass also covered train rides up the Mountains and a ride on a lift up 7000 feet in the clouds to a beautiful restaurant. Worth every penny and would love to go back and see more of Switzerland. Transport system is something else and the cleanliness is unbelievable. We should take a page from their book!! We did find that eating out was extremely expensive but we didn't move too far from our tourist area so I am sure if one stepped out a bit and eat where the locals eat it may have been better. We ate at home most of the time but did discover wonderful pizza in Brunnen.

I have dined in this lovely restaurant several times now over the last two years.
The service is professional with just the right amount of friendliness and warmth. The service team can speak English and although most of the menus are in English as well as Swiss German, they are happy to help with any text that is not in both languages.
The menus and wine list are posted on the website of the hotel and are changed regularly.
The restaurant is divided into two sections, one half has a modern feel and the other is a more traditional Swiss style. You are able to choose which side you would like to be seated in.
The chef Helge Chlebnicek has created a range of menus (both fixed and A La Carte)which include traditional Swiss cuisine, Mediterranean-inspired French cuisine and the occasional Asian inspired dish. This may sound a little eclectic, but it all sits together very nicely indeed. He sources fresh, seasonal ingredients from very local suppliers where possible and it is of the highest quality.
The wine list consists of a range of wines that are high quality and not over priced.
Although there is no dedicated parking for this hotel, there is parking in the attractive town square right outside or in three car parks within walking distance.
This restaurant accepts Swiss luncheon vouchers.

After a very disappointing experience at the Naturfreundehaus in Stoos yesterday, I was a bit sceptical today before entering the Wildis Café in Morschach. I was overwhelmed! The service is very friendly, there's a nice playing area for children inside, the food is very good! We'll be back there soon!

This traditional restaurant has now reopened as an Asian speciality restaurant serving dishes from China, Vietnam and Thailand. The food is excellent, the service very attentive, and the ambience super thanks to the good spacing of the tables. Open every day except Monday, both for lunch and dinner. The prices are very fair, and our evening that was an anniversary was super.

On a warm late summer evening all tables outside had been taken, but sitting indoors was pleasant enough. The place is airy, the nice furniture is of light wood, the whole interior design well done: traditional, but not overdone as so often.
The very friendly waitress, who attended us all evening (a non-ethnic Swiss) told us to sit at the round table in the corner, which would have been at least for four persons. We were close to a picture of the Bavarian Fairy Tale King Ludwig II, who in 1865 stayed here in the historical hotel 'Weisses Rössli (little white horse), of which this is restaurant is part of.
Checking the menu-card we saw that there are classical dishes on offer, international ones like 'Beef Stroganoff' or Schnitzel, but mainly wellknown Swiss specialities like 'Chopped Veal Zurich-style', Cordon Bleu, Bratwurst, Älplermagronen or Cheese Fondue.
We asked for 'Zander' (Pike Perch) and the 'Fresh Fish of the Day', which was 'Felchen' (a local whitefish) from the Urnersee. The restaurant manager regularly passed by all the tables with customers, looking after their wellbeing and also helping the two waitresses with the service. It really gave the impression thta one was well taken care of in this restaurant.
The dishes were of excellent quality, well prepared and nicely presented in big square plates. Even before I had finished the restaurant manager asked me if I felt like another fillet of whitefish. Since there already had been three of them, I had to say no.
For dessert my wife had ice-cream, again nicely presented, while I went for 'Mazurka', a prune sorbet with 'Vieille Prune'-liqueur, which was excellent as everything this evening at the 'Weisses Rössli'.

Daves Gelateria always seems to have a queue out of the door into the road whenever I pass by, so I decided to take the family in to see why people love the place so much.
A very wide choice of flavours and everything looks good. Different sized bowls available. We had coffee, mixed berries, chocolate, strawberry and red cherry. Everything was exceptional.
The price of ice-cream is higher than the mass produced competitors, but you just can't compare the quality and the price is worth it.
The location is just off the main street through Brunnen, head for the Public Information office, look over the road behind the stream and you'll see Daves.
Seating outside.

Ok this is not the place you go for pizzas. The chef is a master and can put together the most amazing fish plates, starters combining a huge variety. He is supported by efficient, most friendly and authentic staff. Wine list is excellent. Overall it is a bit pricey, still in line with Swiss ranges, but worth every cent in terms of taste and ambiente.

A great place for a lunch after skiing. Despite the lunchtime rush, we managed to find a table pretty fast, and the service followed. Not a place for high quality cuisine, but if you want a sausage/schnitzel type food after a morning on the slopes, this is the place. Enjoy.
