Only had a drink during visit, but did look at menu and saw food being taken to customers, it looked very good and reasonably cheap, I am staying in the area so I will be eating hear soon, I am not sure if there will be more to the place in the summer, it is a stone built building, traditional to old Czech style, very thick walls, enough light and quite cozy as restaurants go, staff were helpful and polite, thank you

Great Czech food in a "farm" mileu, with a courtyard with Seating. Great for stopping there on the way north....

We are a family group where some members did not speak Czech. Although the English translation of the menu must have been generated by a computer resulting in such gems as "deer on foal" or "steak scented by fox" the food here is exceptional. Especially the game. They have elk (not deer, I checked in Czech) and wild boar in several versions, all excellent. The fillet mignon steak is also excellent. Try to avoid the corn on the cob, but that is true of all European corn; that has little to do with the restaurant.
We also enjoyed the building itself. It is a gorgeously kept classical Czech "chalupa" - a house made of massive exposed wooden beams with white washed filling between them in the second floor and whitewashed stone first floor. They also have a small play room inside and a playground outside for their youngest guests. Limited parking.

This place was pleasantly busy on a Monday evening. The staff were very welcoming, and we were pleased to receive an English menu. My steak with cranberry sauce was very nice, and my friend's pork tenderloin with peppercorn sauce was equally lovely. It was a real pleasure to find a restaurant that serves plenty of fresh vegetables as side dishes, as we have felt a bit lacking in vitamins on this trip! The grilled vegetables and tomato salad were refreshing and really tasty, as were the potato pancakes. Service was friendly and efficient, and everyone at the whole place was in good spirits. Clearly a favorite amongst locals, and definitely worth a meal!

Včera jsem byla, opět již poněkolikáte, v této restauraci a zase jídlo, obsluha a celkově prostředí, nemělo chybu. Vše bylo naprosto dokonalé. Jídlo vynikající, čerstvé, obsluha velmi ochotná a milá.

We were very surprised - the restaurant doesn't so excellent from outside but it is definitely worthy to enter. Big choice of excellent meals, each very well served, original homemade side dishes and desserts. We'll come again soon.

We enjoyed the Pizzas here, although English was a challenge but we managed to get the right stuff. Very good service too.

Sono tornato dopo un paio d'anni in questo ristorante che mi era piaciuto e ho trovato il nome cambiato, forse anche la gestione. Il locale non è cambiato, ma mi è sembrato molto meno animato e anche le sere del fine settimana è presente una sola cameriera. Il servizio è gentile anche se approssimativo. Anche il menù è rimasto li stesso, cambiando solo il nome, mantenendo anche gli errori (la carpa fritta è tradotta come carpa arrosto). In due sere diverse ho provato la carpa (non buona), la trota dello chef (buona, ma non speciale), la zuppa d'aglio (buona), e il cocktail di gamberetti (abbastanza buoni, nel bicchiere con la salsa rosa e pezzetti di arancia, strana la copertura di panna dolce). Le patate di contorno non erano speciali. In definitiva il peggioramento della cucina è evidente. Almeno accettano le carte di credito (raro anche in questa località turistica).

My wife we staying in their apartments and ate here twice and we're delighted with the food. Very tasty, taking Czech traditional food and adding a nice twist to it. Very pleasant beer garden and great service. Would definitely go back.

If you gonna come in the summer you gonna get nice service, good food a good beer but out of the summer the quality of service and food is lower
