We went there on new years eve, it was a fixed menu for 70€/person. The food was not bad but everything was cold. The snack that came with the apéritif was lukewarm. The soup was served in big plates that were cold so the soup was not hot, in the soup they had put scallops and sour cream, the scallops ice cold on the inside, the sour cream must have been in the plates for a while because there was a skin on the cream. Then we got half a lobster with veggies, again everything lukewarm, the sauce also. Then we had Deer calf Crown, not rested enough so the blood came out of the meat on to our plate. The vegetables with the meat again cold. Then we got the star of the evening, the dessert. That was supposed to be cold so that was OK... All in all not a very good way to spand the last hours of 2016. Maybe there were to many people and they were not equiped to handle that much food or they need to rethink how to do this in the future.

Cozy but modern, with large Terrace space. Excellent food, freshly prepared, good portions and not too expensive. Basic menu but something for everyone. Specials are always nice. Fine selection of coctails and wines. Excellent value for money. Very friendly hardworking staff, and fluent/ fast service.
Basically, my top choice locally for dining out with family or friends! We frequently go and have never been dissappointed.
Quite popular with locals, all ages, the hip place to go in Stabroek. Make sure you make Reservations though!

Place is adjacent to the town library and is "brasserie-style", so you're welcome for lunch/dinner, but also just for a drink and/or a snack. Reasonable service and selection of beers. Have been there for lunch a couple of times and always go for the Steak Tartare with fries. Excellent quality meat and nicely served with all what's needed to prepare theTartare at your own taste. Reasonable prices. In summer (and with Sunshine ...) they operate a nice Terrace in front. Quiet sitting in the centre of town.
Good choice for lunch & drinks.

We visited this restaurant during a beautiful summer evening and enjoyed sitting all Evening on the terrasse. The menu is comprehensive and there will be something good for everyone, what we received was very tasty, and well presented. The wine list give a wide choice of good wines !

The restaurant interior is very nice, the food was ok, and the service was friendly, but completely inadequate. On a Saturday evening the place was full, but there were 2 ! people serving, by the end of the night a 3rd person showed up. We had plenty of time and were in good company, so we were not bothered too much about the fact that it took them 10-15 min to bring a desert menu or a bill. But then it also took them so long to bring anything you asked, if you even had a chance to ask.
We ordered white wine, which they placed somewhere else after pouring the first glass. And when the glasses were empty, nobody came back with the bottle, till after the 2nd meal. The same happened with the water. If you don't have time to go around and fill the glasses, why in the world don't you just leave the bottle on the table??? And, as our friends said at the end, they miss a lot of income this way as well, as we (and I am sure more people) would have ordered more wine and other drinks if someone just cared to ask or pass by once in a while so that we could ask...
As for the food, don't take the suggestions, as they are not very fresh - at least ours wasn't, and two people who had fish from the suggestions menu got stomach problems afterwards. One of the suggestion meals was also decreased in price during the evening, indicating that they really wanted to get rid of it. The rest of the food was good, a bit too expensive for what it is though. Will we go back? Not sure. Maybe for a cheaper meal like pizza or pasta next time. But only if we have a lot of time and are not in a hurry.

We came here on a Sunday evening after Reading good reviews online and word of mouth recommendations from relatives. The interior is a bit dark but they also offer seats outside weather permitting. Bread with herb butter was served with a bowl of mixed olives as amuse.
We ordered calamaris fritti, a mixed tapas platter, garlic bread with marinated tomatoes seasoned with fresh basil. As main dish we all had the crab meat raviolinis drizzled with lime butter, sage and kapers which for us stood out on their menu.
The tapas consisted of mini spring rolls, olives, goat cheese filled small round chili's, slices of chorizo, calamari fritti and an olive tomato tapenade to accompany the bruscetta style garlic bread. All starters were served hot and very presentable to the eye. The freshly baked bread rolls were replenished when the main dish, the home made raviolinis, were served. Again, very tasty, well balanced flavours.
A must for crab lovers.
For dessert we chose the zabaglione which is considered the dessert to test the skills of the chef. A generous offering of smooth warm zabaglione laced with Marsala skillfully layered on top of a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. A nice way to finish an enjoyable and affordable dining experience! Compliments to the chef and the friendly service staff.
Highly recommended, will pass the word and certainly come back when in the neighbourhood.

Every time we have come here, for several years already, the food and service have been excellent. Also nice atmosphere.
