Great restaurant at the Saida main road and next to the old town on the one side and the Citadel on the other, overlooking the sea shore. The place is spacious with a beautiful outdoor Terrace, child friendly and excellent for big families. All staff are very professional and polite. The dishes are delicious, various seafood is available as well as other typical Lebanese dishes all certainly fresh and, created by an excellent and well functioning kitchen brigade. These dishes in combination with a nice glas of wine on a sunny day, together with the family is quite an experience. To close the lunch with sweets, green tea and fresh fruits just a delight [!].

I've had my breakfast at Kanaan twice in a row and both times, I loved their food but their service is too slow.
I've the salty breakfast as mana'ish once and I've had the sweet croissant.
They're amazing, and the croissants are innovative. They have the pineapple, the almonds, the peach, the chocolate, etc... My friends and I ordered all them and we shared. Very tasty!!!

Beit Al Samak is a small fish restaurant that opened its doors end of April 2012 in the coastal city of Saida. Beit Al Samak is a family operated restaurant offering the taste of homemade cooking at affordable prices. Our tag line, "Homemade tastes better" stems from the fact that all of our food is prepared by family members and is guaranteed with the best of fresh ingredients and the atmost quality of cooking ensured. To prove that, you are most welcomed as per our open kitchen policy to check our kitchen before you enjoy your meal.
We visited this relatively upmarket family run restaurant in Sidon facing the Corniche and a little bit away from Sidon castle and souk area seeing the high ratings and raving reviews this establishment has managed to collect.
Although we were not very impressed - probably it is due to the small Sultan Ibrahim fish we selected- the service was OK and the owner did pass by requesting us to give the establishment a good review. We had also Tabouleh and Hammous - not the best we have had either in Lebanon or elsewhere.
In short we didn't think that the rating this restaurant has been receiving was justified- at the best a 4.0 or 4.5 rating would suffice. The positive thing is that you get to choose your fish and it comes freshly cooked .

AL Baba sweets has a good reputation since long time, however the quality of sweets is going down. The taste of the cake is not good, moreover it is not fresh. In addition to that, you cannot get any advice from the staff because they are not honest... if you are in Sidon city, you have many better choices to buy sweets. I do not recommend AL Baba sweets anymore...usually high price means good quality, however this is not applicable for AL Baba sweets. AL Baba sweets has high prices for low quality...

We serve shawarma and quality street food with a twist.
We tried different sandwiches and the kebeh shawarma. Amazing food. The staff are friendly adding joy to our meal. It's good to upgrade shawarma and stay affordable. Dream come true.

It's a new concept in the city with nice setup ; however, they need to work on thw staff and most important the ventilation of the place as the barbeque smoke and smell was filling the place. As for the burger itvqas full of sauces to the extent that it started leaking out while eating.

When in Sidon and if you are a sushi lover, sushi bento is the best in town with excellent service, outstanding food and reasonable pricing. Don't miss it!

I have been invited to the restaurant on late August 2016 along with my wife. I was surprised with the quality of food and services provided. The restaurant is a real gem with a very delicious varieties of fresh sea food, Lebanese Mezze and appetizers. The price is excellent and the ambiance and presentation of food is perfect. The restaurant has a good view on the sea. I definitely recommend the restaurant when in Lebanon.
