It's really good and big. I could never eat a whole one even been very very good, very tasty. You can ask for one with french fries or like you want. And you won't eat there: everyone takes their and eat outside. A really "sassari" experience.

I went to Giamaranto on a tip from my sister, who is a regular customer. It was simply perfect. The food is delicious: the mixed appetizers are superb, cooked using fresh local ingredients; I also had the paglia e fieno pasta with scampi, shrimps and sea asparagus and they were mouthwatering. Service is excellent. The environment is friendly, yet stylish and the staff is kind, welcoming and very professional. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Non Facciamo Apertura Doppo Mezza Notte.la Cuccina Chiude 22,45.
Excellent personal attention and service. We stumbled on this restaurant in August 2012 hot and tired - and had a lovely lunch in a nice refined setting. My son selected his fish from the selection on ice. Handmade potato wedges were delicious. Seafood ravioli very nice. Nice for families with calm children.

Traditional Cooking Greek Food Take Away Cuisine
During a walk through the center of Sassari we discovered accidentally "Ellas Snc" where they serve all kinds of Greek appetizers. We tried a few of them and were pleased by the quality of the products and the kindness of the owners. If you're in...MoreThank you very much.

I´d like to write a brief review of a small Café-Restaurant.
Located within a mall, atmosphere can´t be romantic but rather friendly and easy going.
The typical Italian "pranzo" with a good service and lot´s of smiles.
The food here is just fantastic.
Few options, fresh ingredients and a your stunning meal is ready.
I really like their work ethic, from a Capuccino to a glass of wine or a "tramezzino" everyhing is prepared and served with professionalism and the typical italian smile.
Something you don't see often anymore!
Highly recommended!

Our hotel recommended this this small place of 5 tables. Our fresh fish was delicious and well prepared and we also ordered an unusual fresh (raw) sliced artichoke salad. Close to the bus and train stations. Nice change from the meat places we had been at.

Consigliatissimo!

The Old Mill , an old mill of 1600 recently restored , is a restaurant serving Sardinian regional cuisine following the seasonality criteria , km 0 , organic , Slow Food. It is also a cultural center where we organize events such as Exhibitions , book launches , theater , films , Concerts.
Just 5 mins walk from hotel. Looked very swish, but prices inexpensive. Super waitress with v good English. We shared a mixed antipasti starter then two mains (I had the mixed grill of horse, pork and the very tender beef) and shared a local dessert. With two beers and ¼ litre of wine the bill was €56.
Highly recommended

We have been here with my family all together. The business is run and preserved by the family since several generations. Speciality are dishes from Sassari : aubergines (melanzane) fave e lardo o favette con crema di pecorino.
Gnocchetti sardi are a must.
You can end up with a seadas as desert. They offer several types of honey from millefiori to corbezzolo for the ones having bitter tastes.
Mirto is also very good.
All products are genuine and organic.
Try this once if you are in Sassari
