Lover's was a great restaurant. My husband is very picky but he really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is very nice. The food is great and there are so many choices on the menu. The peach frozen was my favorite. It has no alcohol and is nice and sweet. The only thing I can say is the wait staff is a little slow and not friendly at times but the food makes up for it. Worth the visit!

We arrived at 5:15pm, planning on just having a drink, but ended up staying for food too. We had the quesadilla, tacos and chips, followed by delicious oreo cheesecake and lime pie - yum!
Best of all, the staff were very attentive and we left promptly at 6pm as they closed, couldn't have asked for a more efficient service!
The 'mora' (blackberry) juice was very tasty too! The only downfall was that the portions were perhaps a little smaller than expected, but we were ordering snacks after all!

Santa Ana's traditional ice cream place
Sorbetes Sin Rival is without doubt Santa Ana's most famous ice cream parlor. It dates back from the 1960s when its owner started selling ice cream on a cart in Santa Ana's downtown. The ice cream tastes great, be sure to eat it the traditional way: With strawberry syrup and the ice cream ball on the red cone ("barquillo").
Sin Rival has various locations in the city, and carts on the park. But the best location is located three blocks east from the Parque Libertad (Central Park). At Calle Libertad Oriente and 5 Avenida Norte, in front of "Claro" telephone company.

The vanilla-chocolate cake (with the oreo cookie on top) was almost inedible. It tasted like it was old and parts have become sour. But i'm afraid that even if it hadn't been old, it would have tasted like sugar and cardboard.
Next time I'd rather try the pastries instead of overpriced horrible cake!

We spent a couple mornings here admittedly primarily for WiFi, but ended up lingering because the folks are so friendly. We also had our two small dogs with us, and not only were they admitted, they were showered with attention. I wish I had taken a photo. In addition to coffee, they also have some pastries. They have a nice courtyard, and clean restrooms.

Very delicious food at this out of the way restaurant. Don't be put off by the roadside appearance. The food is prepared so that Americans need not fear the ingredients. Many locals also hang out here and are very friendly. I celebrated my birthday here. We spontaneously had a large group singing and a guitarist happened to join in! Great memories!
BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!!!

My wife and her family decided to have a small dinner event here celebrating her parents anniversary. They offered to close the restaurant just for our event. There were a total of around 30 people. We were happy with the place itself since it is a very nice decorated place inside of a home. The food was great and the service was prompt. The staff was very accommodating and helpful at all times. I have not had the chance to visit this restaurant on a regular business day for a meal but from the experience I had from this event makes me want to go again and try the rest of the menu. So far, I recommend this place for an event!!!. Price was very reasonable!!!

We are a restaurant-cafe hidden in a lush garden in the centre of an old colonial house in the centre of Santa Ana. We have live music on weekends. Everything is made on the premise or is bought locally. We are a Canadian-Salvadorian couple and try to use salvadorian flavours in a new and thoughtful way. Come cool off with a fresh fruit frozen, home baked dessert, ribs fresh from the BBQ, a glass of wine and an amazing Salvadoranian coffee!
Little to our knowledge most restaurants are closed on Monday in Santa Ana, after a little searching we ended up at Cafe Tejas. As you enter the restaurant you will instantly notice the amount detail and care that has been put into the restaurant. It resembles a comfortable, open concept tree house. We ended up sitting, drinking and eating with the owners. Ammera and Roberto were just fantastic and genuinely wonderful people! The restaurant serves delicious 'Canadorian' fusion food. They serve everything from BBQ to fish to Thai salad. This restaurant was amazing and the company was even better! Highly recommend!!

We ate here twice. The location is great, right next to the main park and Cathedral and theater; we ate here before going to visit a magic show and then we had dinner here the next night. The food was good, they had fresh squeezed juices and delicious grilled meats. Reasonable price and the staff are fairly proficient with English to help you order. Live music one night and a great balcony to watch the crowds.

The perfect combination of exquisite food, nature and service in the best place of El Salvador, the magnificent Coatepeque Lake.
We had two meals at this restaurant. Our first experience was dinner. We very much enjoyed the freshness of the food, the selection of wines, and the kindness and competence of the staff. The owners came by to greet the guests, and they seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say about the locations, the mysticism of the place (which is quite palpable). They served us a wonderful apple pie!
We returned to next day for lunch, and the food was just as good as the night before. My only disappointment was that they were out of apple pie.
The location is stunning; the lake is very beautiful, especially when the sun begins to go down.
The staff and owners seem dedicated and want to please their guests. That's commendable!
