Visited here with my girlfriend when we were on holiday in the area. This was one of the best places we visited. Food was great, for main I had the horse steak which was delicious, and my girlfriend had pork shoulder which she loved.
Prices were also excellent.
Great little place and highly recommend if you are in the area.

Placed in the old town of Sant Feliu de Guixols, the restaurant Ca l'Isern is an eminently familiar setting. Currently run by the third generation of the family, Enric and Elena, facilities welcome you with an essentially traditional. In their kitchens are made specialties such as grilled meat dishes and one hundred percent home among which the "rostit de l'Avia" and "xai al forn brao of." On weekends, special dishes are prepared with the touch of the chef of the house to enjoy your palate of the most emblematic recipes of Catalonia.Just 200 meters from the beach this restaurant is the ideal place to get away and enjoy the Costa Brava and its charms in the company of your family. Do not miss it.
We visit Sant Feliu regularly for short holidays because if its proximity to Gerona airport and regularly eat here. The set menu is full of choice and because most of the meat (and fish) is cooked over an open fire the flavour is always fantastic....MoreThank you very much for your review and recommendation. We are glad that you like our restaurant and you are visiting us often. Thank you very much, see you next!

The quality of the food is very good: we ate two dishes of pasta (both very nice) and meat, which was delicious. The staff are very nice, friendly and attentive. Worth trying.

I suffer from extreme food allergies. Wont even go into it. So I came across this little restaurant in San Feliu de Guixols. I wanted to kiss the ground they walked on!!! Friendly waitress, knowledgeable of my problems, so helpful. The food tasted wonderful. In my experience if it taste good it means its full of allergy suffering for me. Not this time!! To add to the the overall experience the family also owns the shop next door, selling quirky antique things, and modern and jewellery. All I can say is a very huge thank you, you saved me from never ending boredom in eating in San Feliu. Just go there!!!!!!

Good food. The herring salad was excellent, the mussels were abundant, the house wine fantastic. The service was a little off (chaotic and slow but ever so friendly) when we visited but they seemed to be having just one of those nights, when if a glass could fall it would.

Lovely staff, very nice meal right on the seafront-very accommodating to my vegetarian (no meat, no fish) request and produced some pasta with a mushroom sauce which was great. Would definitely recommend but not quite as good as La Clova!

Stumbled across is whilst taking a random alley back from a walk. What we were confronted with inside was fantastic... a set lunch menu of all organic dishes excellently prepared with a typical Mediterranean feel. All so fresh and really great service. Highly recommended! Fairly cheap as well. Merci!

We were recommended by friends to try this restaurant during our visit to the area, and we were so pleased we did.
This is an unpretentious hotel/restaurant in a very clean and tidy side street near the waterfront, with tables and chairs both inside and out. Everything was spotless - cutlery, table linens, glasses etc, and the toilets were immaculate (always a good sign!).
Our server was cheerful and friendly, and spoke a little English. We chose from the set menu which included both wine and water, and for three courses was very reasonable in price. The food was served quickly and efficiently, with great courtesy and a relaxed style, and everything was delicious, freshly cooked and very, very enjoyable.
The hotel rooms look very nice too, so if you fancy a stay in a proper Spanish town then the Can Segura hotel & restaurant might suit you very well. The town is typical of most small-to-medium Spanish towns, and refreshingly free - in late September at least - of tourists.

Definitely a cheap eats place. You can get a nice meal but would not go back or recommend. My meal was not cooked all the way, had pork. Outside tables and they were all full. We didn't have a reservation but sat right away.
