Had a lovely meal here with family. There is an excellent choice of freshly cooked quality tapas finished off with a couple of bottles of Spanish Rioja, Good value too! The staff were really professional and attentive and the experience made a really enjoyable evening. Look forward to returning with more friends soon.

We have known of this hotel for a couple of years and it is fantastic being right on the beach..
We decided, four of us, to go for dinner and booked a table on the Terrace overlooking the sea. Good job we booked as the area soon filled. We got settled and ordered drinks and perused the menu, drinks arrived and in due course starters and mains were ordered.
Although plenty of staff the service overall was indifferent as we had to ask for various things. Two ordered a meat dish and two the paella which followed in due course, the meats were declared good enough but the paella arrived with a flourish but instead of being placed upon a table for self service, as they would have wished it was quickly waiter served before he could be stopped which resulted in a eye pleasure being splossed upon plates. Even so "so be it" ..... on extraction the plate was sparse in sea food and the mussels unopen ... on calling the "maitre" he surprising said that they were closed and rushed to get a plate of uncooked to show them ... after "no no" .. etc the situation dawned upon him and he again rushed away returning quite soon with a dish of cooked and opened mussels .... the moment being lost they eat what they could and declined the remains. Puddings were then taked and the bill called for.
The bill was for some 121 and notes to 140 were put ...this disappeared and did not return. The tip was ok but it would have been nice to have been given the opportunity to leave it as usual.
The place is fab the rest you read .... the paella showed no comparison to that taken on a little local bar "on the front" , perhaps a bad time but leaves a not too good impression.

We went to this restaurant on our way back to Barcelona after seeing it on google maps and it had some good reviews. The restaurant is in a plain apartment block - seems strange place when you first see the sign, but once you walk in it's quite nice inside and set by the sea. The food was really good quality, wine was very good, the staff excellent and the owner came to speak to us to check we liked the food, everything was ok. They also gave us some free appetizers which was very nice. The only issue we had was we ordered rice and wanted it for 1 / but they did it for 2 people. But we were able to take it home so it was ok. I would recommend this restaurant!

With over 50 years of experience in the hospitality and catering, the restaurant Miami Can Pons offers guests traditional Mediterranean cuisine based on the best fish and seafood products Badia Alfacs and Ebro Delta, Recommended are their rice. Our restaurant has an excellent reputation which is reflected in the fact that it is recommended in the country’s food guides. We have a Terrace overlooking the sea, where you can taste our specialties in a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and a very good value – price.
We stayed at the hotel Miami Mar and ate twice in their restaurant, a smart dining room which overlooks their Gardens and the beach. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and would vary dishes to suit you. The food was well presented and...MoreGracias por su comentario y contentos de que haya sido de su agrado. Lacking is to say the least. If you can give top marks for smiling then that would be great but unfortunately this is a restaurant. and food, drink and service prevail (or shoudl). We three guests sat down in a near empty restaurant of a Friday evening at 8.00pm. The first thing we got was a good and convincing sales pitch offering a suggested first course to share (they had not got what we actually wanted from the menu in stock that evening). Having received the starter which was massive in portion and the first course wine we waited for the next course of steaks which were all different and all to be cooked differently. Meanwhile the one waiter had to be reminded that we were still awaiting a bottle of water ordered with the wine earlier. The second course wine also failed to appear. We then got three differently cooked steaks but incorrectly applied: the fillet supposed to be medium was served to the sirloin client that was to be well done and the recipient could not differentiate between the type of served offering so got on with it. The entrocote (rare) was served cremated and was more fat than meat. It arrived well after the fillett. The sirloin was another fatty offering served raw (not well done). Hence three steaks cooked three incorrect ways all served at different times to the wrong people. To top it off, the first of our party finished the meal and the second was more than half through before the second course wine was even thought by the waiter to serve. My Sirloin was sent back for more cooking but was returned with accompanying veg and frits now cold, soggy and same as when they were returned. The meal had not been replated. I left the whole thing. When we told the waiter that the wine was now "too late" to be useful he got the manager who stated that the celler was "a long way upstairs", and that is why it was late! Bill was more than £100 for 3 people and when I got home I had a pot noodle to fill me up.

Good seafood and better rice, but beware of the prices for the fresh fish as it points above expectations. Would deserve a 4th dot if prices were a bit lower.

Happened upon this great seafood restaurant by chance - it's been open for over 100 years - so must be doing something right!
The atmosphere is simple, restrained, efficient and friendly - but the real star is the superb, simply cooked, fresh local sea food.
There's a huge choice of sea food restaurants in this coastal area of Spain but I bet Casa Asmundo would be hard to better.
Would definitely eat here again.

Big space with sea views. Can have lunch or dinner outside. Mediterranean Kitchen. Our specials are rice and fishes. We have also lounge and chill out zone.
The restaurant is very nice, young, and the owner is very kind. The menù is small, but we found everything very good. The service was excellent, and they made special meal for the kids at a very special price. Highly suggested!

A good restaurant with very nice servings. I especially like their Beef Argentine which usually is made of excellent beef. Their Menu del Dia is usually excellent and very good value for money!
Salads, tapas are also quite nice. As I still have not got used to Spanish evening times after 13 years visiting la Rapita I have only been there for lunch...
