I went to Jalapenos on a Friday night and it was packed. We were seated immediately. The server was very friendly and spoke some English. We had soft tacos, frijitos and key lime pie for desert. The Pico and fire roasted salsa was delicious. I would heartily recommend this establishment

Been there 4 times already because the food is always on point. I have had some of the best wine and dine experiences there except for the service.
As a person who lived in Paris, I must recognize that the service in Doris is on par to the one in Paris... which is a terrible thing to say. There is only one waiter who has been kind in that restaurant; the rest have been constant nay-sayers with condescending tones.
If the administration someday decides to reconsider its staff etiquette, I will be happy to increase the rating.
On the plus side the skirt steak, the New York Steak, the eggplant entrée, the carcioffi caldi, and the OMG the bread... best house bread. Seriously.

Outstanding restaurant 15 mintues from Allejuah Costa Rica (San Jose Metro). Talked about in Marriott San Jose Forum.
When I arrive here in Costa Rica over 20 years ago a friend introduced me to Kiantis. Today it remains one of my favorites with good food and pretty good service and prices.
If you want a bit of the local scene the restaurant is across the street from a football/soccer field which seems to always be busy and entertaining.

I had not been back to Sakura in many years, because the high prices did not reflect the food that was being served. That has changed. Chef Ranny and his colleagues are serving beautifully crafted sushi, with a fantastic balance of creativity and Japanese authenticity....MoreDear Gacho Its a pleasure receive your comments, all days our staff its dedicate at your service and offer the most refinate culinary experience japanese. Just so-so.
The chicken is really good, so if your getting a whole bird you'll be happy. If your visiting and order a meal, then you'll get the sides that are not so good.
Is it just me, or does cilantro ruin a salad? The refríed beans had some extra ingredient that made them taste way too sweet. The fries and onion rings were good, but they are everywhere.
Overall, if you have to go out of your way to get here, it's not worth it.

Pescatore Restaurant is focused on providing recipes where creativity and originality are the highlights, fusing peruvian and Mediterranean cuisine. A truly new and unique experience. The restaurant is owned by Peruvian chef Regis Molina, Le Cordon Bleu graduate, with extensive experience in Costa Rica. Finally note the open kitchen, large windows and the ability to eat outdoors. Hope to see you soon !
Was excellent!
Simply delicious, expensive yes, but totally worth it.
The service was great, personalized and really professional.
I made the reservation saying it was for a birthday and they didn't make it just another one, they called us by name and offer a courtesy dessert for her.
Really happy!

I had a very bad dinner experience at this location . I ordered a ribeye and it came cold, hard, too disgustingly full of hard fat , creamy spinach out of the freezer and service could actually improve a lot....you overpay for any dish here to get such an experience . AVOID, go to the Asian one, I had lunch there and rolls were pretty good

Extremely comfortable and attractive interior rooms and also a pleasant open patio to enjoy the breeze and shade.
The menu is extensive, well planned, and executed by experts. My Italian selections were just as good or maybe even better than even the Sapore downtown, plus delicious homemade rolls. I shall be returning whenever I have the opportunity or reason to visit San Jose, definitely worth a trip to the La Riviera.
Plenty of easy, safe parking here too on the premises of the contiguous hotel.
