We have been eating here once a year for many years and have never been disappointed, and this time was no exception. The quality of the food, the plating (presentation) is among the best we've seen anywhere, and service is superb, plus there is a nice view of Mont Albert during the meal. This time we started with smoked salmon and interestingly prepared excargot - how beautifully designed!! the salmon was in tiny slices and perhaps a bit small for my taste, but I could have looked at it all night. Tuna and 'Ravioli seafood' were delicious and again beautifully presented, and while we really didn't have room for Deserts, we went with a plate of Que cheeses and a lovely chevre mousse - all with a nice selection of wine and friendly, bilingual service. Truly fine dining in the 'wilds' of Quebec.

My husband and I had lunch here. We sat outside along the sidewalk. Pretty view of the water. Nice wine and beer list. No one really spoke English, but that was fine with my little bit of French and gesturing. Servers very nice and friendly. I had the Bass Burger. My husband had fish and chips. Good pub grub. Walked along the waterfront boardwalk to get ice cream.

Our waitress Brigitte was charming and attentive and patient . My lobster was delilicious .(from the restaurant owners catch)the best so far on our trip of the Gaspesie. My wife ordered the lobster sandwhich which she loved with their home made french fries. But the maple sugar was on another level!

My husband and I were traveling with seniors from Tennessee and were touring Quebec on our way to Perce Rock. We had a delicious meal which was served hot and fresh. Our tour guide helped deliver our food since there were so many of us here at the same time. I had the pizza 6.63 and my husband ordered the diner econo poitrine 9.78. With a drink our total was 21.35 with tax. It seemed a bit pricey but there was the American dollar exchange. Canadian food, although delicious, is a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for and we enjoyed every last bite. This is a mom and pop place and they were very efficient, friendly and helpful. We certainly recommend this place and will go back again.

We planned to eat at this restaurant because of the reviews, and we were staying at the hotel. We went to the restaurant about 7 pm, The restaurant was about half full, and there was a person seated at the bar. We waited for someone to seat us. Other people came up to the podium. The other people spoke French. We spoke only English. While we waited, people in front of us and behind us were seated. We were finally told to come back in 30 minutes without any explanation. I'm not sure why this happened, but it seemed that they didn't want to seat us because we spoke English. We left and went to another restaurant that was happy to serve us.

The dinner was amazing! We had the lobster gnocchi, scallop risotto, and sweetbreads. I definitely recommend the sweetbreads. The gnocchi was my second favorite. The risotto and scallops were good too, but the risotto was pretty standard in comparison to the other dishes. And they have a great Chenin Blanc for only $24/bottle!
Our server Arnaud was very accommodating, especially speaking English to us. We enjoyed the meal just as much as we enjoyed the stay.

We had a quick lunch stop and were pleasantly surprised to find this very healthy option for great food. I had curried apple and shrimp salad. Soooo tasty. Others had seafood pizza and smoked salmon panini. All fresh great ingredients. Great coffees and desserts too!
Great market for cheese meats and veggies - mostly local.

We went to this place at the end of june. The location is very nice, just in front of the St-Lawrence river. The food was great, simple but tasty and efficient. The Shrimp Guedille was fresh as expected.
Considering it's also a microbrewery we tasted the beers and it was very nice. The beer selection is interesting and the staff know their stuff. Service was excellent and fast and the prices are more than reasonable.
If you are nearby, you need to go to this place for lunch, diner or just a beer.
