We dined at La Sivade twice whilst we were staying near Staint Cyprien last week and both visits were excellent. The service was friendly and cheerful surpassed only by the food that was truly wonderful. If you are near Saint Cyprien make sure to enjoy the fabulous restaurant

Visited Les Eyzie last year and found it difficult to find to find somewhere to eat outside of lunch hours. Luckily today stumbled across Mentalo. Delicious Calzone pizza. Fooled by a warm chocolate sponge and creme anglais. Reasonably priced and friendly. The lunchtime menu finishes at 2 but you can eat a la carte. Fondly and also serves Portuguese food on the menus.

Summer evening sitting at an outside table with friends reviewing the day's exploring... The fish soup was delicious, the shared seafood platter shared between 3 included langoustines, oysters, prawns and bulots (large sea snails). It's worth asking what's in a dish no matter how poor one's French is, and it's also good to try new things. The grilled 'Bar' is sea bass and highly recommended.
The restaurant is attached to the fishmonger store so you know where your seafood comes from.
The wait staff have excellent English, as most do where tourists visit. The wine suggested with the meal was excellent - in fact there wasn't one wine we didn't like in France.
There is wifi at the restaurant if you ask but they don't give-out the password - handover your device and they will enter it for you.
We went back to Le Cro Marin a second time for dinner and enjoyed that too.

How pleasant to find this little gem just outside Saint-Cyprien, where the service is ultra pleasant and the food spectacular. What an afternoon it was enjoying Perigourdine cuisine in this sophisticated setting. Thanks for a truly extraordinary meal!

Located in the heart of the Périgord on the Gabarrier Restaurant offers South West selection of dishes. varied menus from € 14.50 for lunch and € 18.50 in the evening. Our recipes are developed with the seasons and our products rigorously selected: Fruits of local seasons. Controlled French origin meats.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here, on the banks of the Dordogne. The owners' English is limited, like my French, but we had a great time nevertheless. The food is excellent, expecially the desserts. There is little else this good in the surrounding area. Feels like home. Wish it was.

Visited this restaurant last week with a group of people. The service was very good and the presentation of the meat/fish dishes looked fantastic. However as a Vegetarian I had a bowl of salad with edible flowers as a starter followed by a nicely presented plate of vegetables as a main course. I was disappointed that the chef had not shown any initiative and not made any effort with this Vegatarian dish. Thank goodness for the apple dessert which was absolutely delicious.

Centrally located and a good budget option for tasty pizza's. Visited twice during our week's stay in Saint Cyprien. Limited wine list but well priced. Would not recommend the house wine. Friendly service.

A picture postcard of what a beautiful country French restaurant should be. Washed wooden ceiling beams, beautiful
Country tablecloths and flowers right from the garden. Dinner was delicious from the local soup to the wonderful cheese selection. Wonderful, friendly service all overseen by the owner/chef and wife. If you are in the area, do not miss this sweet place.
