Roda de Barà is on the Costa Dorada, in the Baix Gaià region of the Catalan county of El Tarragonès. It is near the ancient Via Augusta built by the Romans in the first century. El Roc de Sant Gaietà, a typical Mediterranean-style fishing village, is a quaint attraction. Visitors enjoy the Mediterranean climate and the beautiful, unspoiled beaches, with fine sand and clean waters.

This place is located in an idyllic small town next to sea and with nice views. If coming here I would for sure book in advance and ask for Terrace *nice views to sea and very refreshing breeze). I like rice and this place had an amazing paella. Together with that we had mussels and lunch was just perfect. Place is a little old fashion but when being in Terrace the indoor doesnt really matter. A place to recommend in a very nice town. Price was also very reasonable.

Very good great atmosphere. Only opened at saturday and sunday afternoon. During holiday season july and august all days and evenings. For those who want to eat something different than seafood. Small birds, snails, rabbit.................................................

Expensive food. Kids portions huge. €50 for 2 kids and 2 adults, food very average. Kids meal was big plate of spagetti, chips and chicken nuggets, she didn't eat even half.

We had dinner here on a Saturday night and most tables were booked so I recommend booking a table. The waiters were super friendly and helpful and their recommendations regarding to food and wine were all excellent. We started with a tasty Stak Tartar (probably the best I have ever had) and the artichokes form the grill. Then we shared the entrecote with potatoes and grilled veggies. The waiter recommended a wine which was perfect with our meal. For dessert we had Mató served on fig jam with fruit. Delicious and very light. In the end we paid around 90€. It wasn't a cheap meal but it was absolutely worth the money.

We were tempted to visit this restaurant for lunch as it had a distinctive menu del dia and was particularly well patronised by local people. Indeed, it was one of busiest in Tarragona at the time. The well presented menu del dia was uncompromisingly Spanish. The service was friendly and efficient. Very good value. A gem.

Enjoyed a relaxing beer here at sunset. It's a great place to watch the people pass by with a beautiful view of the beach and marina. The staff are friendly and the drinks are great value.

Mediterraneum, a restaurant located on the campsite Vacances Park Playa Barà, offers a varied menu to satisfy a wide range of customers of different nationalities, natives included. To get it we appeal to our innermost essence: Mediterranean food. Its four spaces are perfect for gatherings of friends or couples in love, for families or celebrations, to watch a game or listen to music during dinner ... The courteous and friendly manner, the beautiful vegetation and the cheerful brightness of the summer complete our proposal, that has been valued for over twenty-five years. (Open from March to the end of September)
As other reviewers have said price and quality are outstanding, from the breakfast to evening meals the quality is the same and the service is equal to the food. Cannot recommend this place enough. We have been coming here for 5years and we will be...MoreThanks for your comment. We hope to see you for five years ... at least!

This was an amazing little restaurant... not easy to find, but well worth the effort! Almost no tourists, but lots of locals enjoying every bite of a variety of dishes. The staff was fantastic, the menu was imaginative and delicious... This chef is going places!
